Definitely wouldn't order again. Got the teriyaki chicken soba and the best part was the cabbage. Didn't taste like anything and then chicken was so fatty and flavorless I picked it out and threw it away. I ate it because I'm hungry but I don't feel great now. Also if it's something you care about, it was all served in styrofoam containers and they didn't seem to offer wooden chopsticks, just plastic forks.

It use to be better. Do Not order the beef. It's hard to communicate with he mask. I felt like I was shouting and still couldn't explain I ordered and paid for a bottled drink and not a can drink. Plus I explained that I paid for two sauces and didn't receive them. The cook seemed frustrated at me.Overall the food other than that beef is descent, but over priced.

Among the Asian restaurants in the Mall EJ is ranked high in my observation and eating experience at Bellingham. Thumbs up!

Really good chicken teriyaki with noodles. I would highly recommend! I love eating here every time I go to the mall. Don’t listen to these other terrible reviews

Udon tasted like it was made from an instant package with some beef slices and vegetables added.

Usually good experiences here, however the last two visits have been poor. The visit before last I was told they couldn't do any more beef udon, it was about 40 minutes before they closed. On this most recent visit however, I was once again told the same thing. And it was about 50 minutes before the shop closed. However, this last visit when I gave the cashier the order, she told the staff preparing food to only be told they can't do that.Apparently it's because the hot water was turned off for the day.But they still had quite a bit of time before the shop closed, so why so early?I have 3 big complaints regarding these visits.1. Why is there no markings at all clearly indicating that certain dishes aren't available past a certain point? It's frustrating to order two times in a row and be told no because no one bothers to mark anything.2. Why aren't your employees more aware of this? This is poor communicational skills, if something like this was done where I work, my boss would be upset.3. If it's just hot water, why is it turned off so early into the day?I could understand if it's like 10-15 minutes before closing. But that's still fairly early at that point. Most places restaurants have things clearly marked when they aren't available or have signs up saying it's only available up to a certain point. What frustrates me is it took two visits to figure this out, when the person who runs the shop could've easily avoided this a second time.I'm aware I'm being nitpicky, but I believe there should be more clear markings and better communicational skills. If that doesn't improve more customers will walk away disappointed, and that's a great way to ruin a business.

I ordered beef teriyaki via Uber Eats. Grosser than anticipated.

Love their chicken soba. Can easily feed two people with just one order. Get their food whenever I'm in the mall.
