My family and I love El Gitano and have enjoyed eating there for years. The chicken mole is delicious. I love their fish tacos. Tonight I had the shrimp and crab chimichanga and it was so good. The staff is wonderful and attentive with beverage and tortilla refills while you’re waiting for your order. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are quick to recommend something for anyone feeling adventurous or someone who might want something less exotic. Every item I have tried has been my new all time favorite.
If you are looking for home cooked Hispanic flavors this is not the place. Rice has no flavor, sauce for enchiladas has no flavor. The service was great but no flavors.Chips and salsa were basic.
I've loved Mexican food all my life and my Grandson recommended this restaurant. El Gitano has the best chili rellanos I have ever had! Loved the warm tortillas and salsa. The salsa was so good I wanted to drink it. One of the people with me ordered a burrito and the other ordered a combo meal. The servings were generous and delicious. Wait staff were attentive and polite. Can't wait to go back!

Cheerful and attentive service to start and throughout. The usual chips and salsa to start both fresh and tasty. Our lunch entrees were served up pretty quickly ( the place was fairly busy ) and hot, flavourful and in ample portions. My chicken burrito could maybe have more seasoning but I was happy enough with it. My wife said her seafood enchilada was all she could ask for - in quantity, fillings and seasonings. We had a more than adequate lunch for two including one draft beer for under $30 before gratuity. Hard to believe these days. We'll be back
I ordered coctel de camarones and I did not expect my coctel de camarones was hot, it was more soup and the menu does not mention that they add ketchup and I am not satisfied with my order. Literally $21 in the trash. :/ They should mention that it is more soup than coctel and it is hot. . The service is good.
Amazing kindness from staff, wide variety in menu, good food. There is a nice vegetarian selection. I had no idea this was going to become a new favorite place. It's clean, nice layout.
Both the service and the food were superior.
Nice place, good food. They gave a nice amount of chips. The salsa was unusually thick almost like a spread.
