Went for our Anniversary dinner. All the years of driving by and always hearing good things about the place. Decided to try and it was the best steak I've ever had.Definitely not cheap, but worth it.
The Cara Cara Orange Cosmopolitan was absolutely delicious. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Steve, was absolutely perfect and let us have a sneak peek at their new cocktail menu and it is quite original and very impressive. We're looking forward to coming back and trying the Raspberry Hibiscus Margarita. Thanks for such a great evening!
Ok, personally I’m usually the more budget minded diner, so the prices were a small shock to me. BUT, the blueberry martini I had, and the was probably the best one I’ve ever had. The ribs were... AMAZING! Fell off the bone, so tender and Smokey. The dining was intimate and private feeling. Service was very good too.So, to conclude, I guess the price was fair for what you get.
Definitely will not be back. Got an 18 ounce ribeye that was ordered rare reminded me of a Sysco steak at that price point I was hoping for an introduction to snake River Farms or some reputable ranch also rare does not mean Raw. I did not complain to my server because I don’t think it would’ve mattered anyways. At 25% fat. As for the mashed potatoes great flavor but salt should be an afterthought. When preparing mashed potatoes you salt the water not the mix. The asparagus was a pleasant surprise I did not know that it came with. The Greek bell pepper and cucumber on a baguette looks like somebody gave the chopping to somebody who’s never cut a vegetable before. Flavors were great and for the salad if you’re going to dress a baguette you need to finely chop and pile not toss onto a plate. Wine was good I do enjoy a Pinot noir from Northern California fruity lights all around mouthfeel fi. Came here for prime rib unfortunately they were out but after ordering the ribeye I think that was probably a good thing. Just come here come for appetizers and wine. The table on the other side of the curtain complaining that the drink didn’t taste right the server informed the table that somebody had made the sour mix wrong and that there was alcohol in it so it might taste funny. When somebody complains about a drink and you know it’s gonna taste funny you fix it. The other half of her tip bought their Tito’s. So I bought the table a shot of Tito’s. The people who order the meat should not allow that to go onto a table and you should taste your food before you serve it to the people who are paying over $100. Rancher’s cut ribeye should stay in a backyard bbq and should not be sold as ribeye. Ribeye = marbling
Celebrate the Valentine's Day dinner and everything were great! Staffs were great and foods were excellent. It was little over crowded, but understandable since it's Valentine's Day. We will definitely come back for the prime rib!
I’ll never go back. The establishment used to be a great place, but things have definitely changed. The food and drinks were overpriced, and the Valentine’s Day lobster special was nothing short of a overcooked scam, and the polenta served along with it, was slop. The steak was tough, and the drinks were weak. The salad was gross, and the crab stuffed mushrooms appy, was dry and over cooked. Spent over two hundred dollars on a valentines night out with my honey, and left with a bad taste in my mouth.
I got there and got handed an under age wristband seeing as I am 19. They told me I was find and did not have to pay seeing as I was polite and respectful. Thats not the bad part. Two of my friends got over age bands when they were underage and they got me drinks. I was standing still when a security guard came up to me and rudely asked me to see my wrist band. I was in the middle of taking a sip of my friends drink and the security guard said you have to get out. She proceed to physically push me out of the bar and ripped my wristband off of my arm. Mind you I am 5’7 skinny and white female. My experience was fine until the rude security guard yelled at me to leave. I understand I am under age, but manners?
Loved the old school atmosphere especially the music. Service was excellent. Food was either a little to salty or to sweet. The ingredients were really fresh they need to let that come forward in the dishes. The asparagus was the best I have had, cooked perfectly.
The main meal we had was steak and lobster which was OK, nothing I go back for again. We waited over an hour to get our food and the restaurant had less than 10 people eating. It is a weird atmosphere and when one of the servers asked where we were staying she complimented the restaurant there and basically told us it was better.
Cool looking restraunt, nice atmosphere. But really bad and slow service. Ordered a $60 steak, it was cooked alright but the quality of meat was poor. Very chewy. We waited over an HR for our food, and we made reservations.... For a fine dining establishment this place is just not up to par. I think they tried to make up for it by serving us 10lbs of potatoe on the plate. It was absolutely rediculous amount. All in all, I wont be going back.
