After reading reviews while visiting over memorial weekend we were excited to try this place. Unfortunately my lamb was way over cooked, it came well done. My boyfriend asked for suggestion on marinara sauce and this was more a meat sauce, really heavy on capers which wasn’t bad but not a marinara sauce. The best part of our meals was the bread and gnocchi. Overall I’d say dinner was “ok”We probably would not eat there again
What a cute little spot. Very minimal wait, even on a Friday night-believe me it was busy and I was shocked they squeezed us in. I was expecting a super fine dining experience based on pictures and their menu, and while I would call it fine dining, it was a pleasantly casual atmosphere. Their food was delicious and all entrees come with a salad and a thick slice of bread making the value extraordinary if you consider the portion size of the entree as well. I easily got two full sized meals from my dish.My only critique was the drinks were on the average side for the cost! Overall I am very pleased by the friendly staff, delicious food and great first experience here.
Saw great reviews and decided to order a take out.Pros - The portions are very good. Glad to see the dish came with a salad and some bread with melted cheese.Cons:- The spaghetti with meat sauce was good but I’ve had much better. The spaghetti was dry in parts and the sauce was minimal on the dish. Meatballs were a bit soggy.- Big pet peeve when the menu on the site isn’t updated. The Spaghetti with Meat sauce says 16.95 but I was charged 18.95 and when I pointed it out , nothing was done. Either update your menu or honour your posted price.
We arrived 4 minutes to closing . The staff were courteous and welcoming . We ordered a bruschetta between us which was excellent , then a salad and focaccia . Our spaghetti was fresh full of flavour and perfect . A really smashing place
Excellent Italian food - very heavy with butter and oil but delicious. The house wine is perfect and outdoor seating available, we tried many of the dishes and all traditional Sicilian style food. Street parking and full bar. Staff is charming. Hugo was great
Recommended by a local. Delicious food. Good variety of dishes on the menu. Great pasta, scratch-made in-house. Waitstaff was friendly and very helpful with our dietary restrictions.
Our entrees and appetizer were great. Then decided to splurge and ordered dessert. Soggy unflavorful cake, yes a three layer cake, as you chew you actually feel the unflavorful liquid squeeze out of it. You won't recognize this expensive dessert as tiramisu. The mascapone filling is good. Don't waste your money.
David was an absolute amazing server. The food was to die for! Wonderful ambiance…all in all would definitely recommend to anyone!
We always get the Berschetta plate as an appetizers. Then tonight I tried Spanch Rigatoni in Pesto sauce, so good and felt a little healthy eating it. But normally I get the Eggplant Parmesan, which is always good as well. But tonight we got stuck by the door which was so cold, I wore my jacket the whole time; and we got charged twice for the Berschetta plate and was quickly fixed.
Absolutely incredible food! I loved that a number of their dishes were vegetarian friendly! I ordered the cheese ravioli with pesto and my partner had the sausage manicotti. Service was great considering we came in during what was a very busy Saturday night dinner rush. Both our meals came with a small salad and some bread. I didn’t catch our server’s name but she was great. We’ll be back here for sure!
