We had an excellent lunch here. The mushroom sandwhich was prepared well. If you want to try their soups, they offer a sampler of three, which is a meal in itself. A rare find is the African Peanut Soup - which I liked.Comfortable home environment. Efficient and professional wait service.
Used to enjoy going here for a sandwich or quiche. But no more. Ordered a glass of ice tea ($4.50) and a piece of carrot cake to celebrate an occasion. Cake was dry..and 7.50. Can no longer afford this place. My friend ordered a croissant sandwich....cold..dry. only good thing was the service.
Adjacent to Village Bookstore, had dinner here after shopping. Waiter was excellent helping us with dietary restrictions (no soy, no dairy). Food is tasty, not fancy. Features locally brewed beers.
Stumbled across their patio on a sunny day and loved the setting so decided on staying for lunch. The service was prompt and friendly, the setting can't be beat, but this all changed when the food arrived. The chicken brie sandwich was among the worst of its kind we've ever had. It was utterly flavourless and had such a soft and "mushy" consistency that it was actually difficult to tell that it contained multiple items. The potato wedges were almost equally bland, were limp, and undercooked. The split pea soup was fine but was almost the only thing edible and obviously not worth the bill for the whole meal. What a shame as this would be a great patio for lunch if the food even remotely matched the setting.
Really cosy cafe next to the green below Village Books in Fairhaven. Food and coffee were good, as was service. Prices are a little high but perhaps not so much given the location.
This costs 8.16. Just a little pricey for an average tasting piece of cheese cake.
Classic menu but with small twists. Good portions and very tasty, especially with dessert. Good service and feels very Covid safe.
Meh... they try way too hard to be edgy and special. The food is very overpriced and very un-special.
Super good! Great London Fog drink. Very pleasant atmosphere.
The food was delicious and service was gracious! We enjoyed our smoked salmon bagel and French toast bake immensely! Ambiance was great as well, if we had a longer visit to B-ham, we would have spent some time on the comfy couches by the fireplace!
