i never write reviews but i gotta log on here to celebrate my main man andrew, the bike guy at cafe velo. for some reason we bought this stupid dutch cargo bike on craigslist with no real plan for how we would maintain it, and when it started to break down we had trouble finding someone in town who could actually work on it. fortunately we were directed to cafe velo and andrew, who seems to know as much about bikes as anyone could. he gave it a first-rate tuneup and and been kind enough to let me drop by on a couple different occasions to show me how to better tweak the bike to my liking. a very kind and knowledgable man. i can't recommend cafe velo enough for all of your bike maintenance needs.

One of the best places in Bellingham! Both the coffee and the service is top-notch. The bike mechanic is knowledgeable, honest, and fairly-priced. It reminds me of some cafes in Amsterdam, I love bringing friends and family from out of town here!Pro tip: they put a bit of gingerbread flavor in their chocolate chip cookies, which has changed my life for the better.
A favorite spot in Bellingham to grab a coffee. The owners are very friendly, and always make a great drink. They have amazing sandwiches and paninis as well. Great outdoor patio seating.
I loved the Alpe d'Huez sandwich with salad. The tapenade really takes this salami/ham/cheese sandwich to a different level. Also Kim as always provided excellent service. My son enjoyed looking at all the bicycles.
Stop reading reviews and just go already! This place is exceptional in every way. They have done a remarkable job of curating high quality coffee, food and bike accessories. On top of that the service is always warm and authentic.

Stop no where else but here for an iced chai on a hot day, or a warm chai on a cold day :-)
