Good sushi, but I can't recall ever getting sushi without a little dab of wasabi in the package. I figure they must have forgotten to put it in there. Sushi without wasabi is very sad ?
Despite reading the menu VERY carefully, the item I ordered did not say anything about having any sauce on it. Get back home with it, and it's COVERED in the exact kind of spicy sauce, that I hate the flavor of. On top of that, I asked if sauce, and sticks were in the bag, and was assured their was. Get home, one set of chop sticks for two people, and no soy sauce at all. If dining in was an option, that's what we would have done, and these things could have been corrected on the spot. But despite it being a full year since COVID mandates, they're take out only. I'm never coming back.
The most delicious sushi in Bellingham. We've searched for a spot that we love as much as sushi in Seattle since moving here, and this is by far the place. Delicious fish and wonderful staff.
Friendly service and delectable sushi. Our favorites are yam sushi and Titanic sushi plates. Heavenly!
Delicious but unfortunately they recently raised their prices by $1 to $2 even $3 more , which makes it ridiculous to go there now. Chicken teriyaki is $15 now which is Outrageous for chicken and rice. Katsu is $17 now and it use to be $14. Sushi prices up. I think this is a slap in the face to loyal customers. Especially hard working ones who can’t afford it now like the rest of the pompous Bellingham residents with money to burn who I’m sure didn’t even notice to rise in prices. Sorry blue fin we use to spend good money now you get nothing from us.
Blue Fin offers the most beautifully prepared always fresh and delicious Japanese food. I have traveled to many countries including Japan and have never tasted better. The owners and staff are pleasant and helpful also. I really never order sushi etc. anyplace else.
love this place, i go weekly. they know us by name and order by now and are so sweet everytime. food is immaculate, so good. workers are the sweetest and draw pictures on our boxes. i recommend this place to everyone that comes to town. if i could give more than 5 stars, i would. 100/10 service + food

They not only prepare the most delicious Japanese cuisine we’ve tasted in Bellingham, but the portions are so generous. It’s take out only right now. Amazing eating experience (even though it was just in my dining room)!
Best Sushi in Whatcom county. Their owner takes pride in the quality of his product, and it shows.
