Wow this was great food! I got a to go order and, yes it was a bit of a wait. Being around 6pm it was the busy time and they were. The food was very much worth the wait, hot and excellent! Good prices, filling portions, and it very much looks to made there. For example the egg rolls were not the general Sysco foods frozen junk too many restaurants sell, instead it reminded me of the homemade ones made by a lady I knew who grew up in Thailand. It would not surprise me at all if I learned they made it all in-house. I will be returning!
My friend and I on our last night drove down to here from a referral from the girl at our hotel. The food you order at the counter and go sit down. There was plenty of food and everything was very good. No complaints from us. I would go back. Doesn't look the best outside but you won't be disappointed.
While this place is easy to get to for me , with in walking distance. It has a lot to be desired on the quality of the food. They sacrifice the true product for the lower cost. I have gone there 3 times now and tried different items. I love pot stickers and order them whenever I have a chance. The pot stickers here were inedible. If you can make to an another restaurant I highly recommend it, you get better Chinese Food at Haggens. It is now open for sit down restaurant again not just take out. You must try it out. A true no frills Chinese restaurant that is very pleasing to the palette.
I just moved back to town, having had been gone for decades. I had heard the food here was... well, not very good. But that's not true! Everytime I walked by it had customers and it always smells yummy! I really enjoyed my chow mein dinner. It was hot, and tons of food for the great price!
Great food glad you're serving inside now missed you guys
Read the reviews online and decided to give this place a go. Called in and ordered the House Special Fried Rice and Potstickers. I go and pick it up around 10 minutes after it was supposedly ready, and when I got back it was genuinely hard to stomach. The rice was off, the shrimp didn't taste like shrimp, and the sauces they give are very basic. The Potstickers tasted like they had been made ages ago and were left out, plus a decent amount of them had air pockets where they could have filled that up.Overall, not worth it.
Um.No.Monday at lunch time. All tables were empty.Eggrolls to go.Thirty minutes later? They are ready.Basic frozen sweet and sour sauce off the truck. As one of the two Chinese restaurants downtown this was very disappointing.
Never had this place before until now and it’s amazing ? some of the best food I ever had. A little more than expensive then I was expecting but definitely worth it :)
I found small rocks in my food SMH I won't be eating here again ?
Ordered General Tso's chicken lunch special. "How spicy?" "As spicy as you can get it" "15 minutes." It was done in ten minutes. The egg roll was nothing special, mostly air, and you could feel and taste the peanut oil it was fried in. The soup it came with was a combination of hot and sour and egg drop soup, an interesting combination to say the least. The General Tso's chicken? Deep fried chicken with teriyaki sauce. Three small pieces of broccoli, no carrots, no schezwan peppers and a chunk of green onion. Not spicy at all. Tasted like deep fried chicken in teriyaki sauce. Brought it back, nice lady said "we don't put peppers in General Tso's chicken" "General Tso's chicken has schezwan peppers in it. I wanted spicy". She took the order back to the kitchen, probably spit in it, drizzled some chili sauce over the top, and sent me packing with extra chili sauce if still not hot enough. Not impressed. Three star.
