Wish they had better COVID protocol, but the chicken was awesome and the people were nice
Have not been in there since the start of all this covid bs. But stopped in the other day and had a great burger. Have always enjoyed going there

It's a small village pub, go for the food not the atmosphere. They make pretty good burgers, favorites are the Glady & Ooey Goey, messy but tasty. They're known for their broasted chicken.
Chicken was overcooked to a burnt tasre.still moist,just burnt crust. The waitress,Tammy was super,but the boss offered no concessions on the 69.00 price.i won't try it further if nothing but the price alone.

It was terrible. We have Been there before and it wasn't bad but today it took forever and our food was burned bad.

Low-key neighborhood bar and restaurant with pool tables, darts and sports on TV. The drinks were reasonably priced and their bar food smells great though we didn't try any.There's a nice outdoor area in the back with tables and chairs (some under cover and others are not).The crowd here is really friendly and welcoming, unlike so many bars where customers are barely spoken to if they're not regulars. We got to meet the owners, Dawn and Steve, who are friendly and have great stories about the small but tight-knit Alger community.All in all a warm and welcoming experience. Will definitely be back!
