My husband picked up some tacos for us on the way home and this was one of the most infuriating experiences of my life. When my husband arrived home, I immediately saw that the lengua on my tacos was dry, but I thought that some salsa may help. It didn't! The meat was so dry and salty I thought I was liking a salt stick. I made my husband take me back to the truck to get a refund or replacement. When we arrived the truck was closing up for the evening. I spoke with the owner (in Spanish) who refused to make me a replacement. (Understandable, they had already packed up for the night.) He then refused to give me a refund because he said that I had eaten the tacos. I had taken 1 bite and showed him this. I complained about the dryness of the meat and the saltiness. Apparently, nobody orders the lengua, so it sits all day drying out and my husband arrived at the end of the day when it was at it's most dry. The owner also informed me that he over salts all his food because that is what the "white people" like. (My Mexican self was offended for my white husband.)We exchanged some louder words with each other, the owner was condescending and made more references to "white people" and knowing how the business is. He even referenced that he once worked at McDonald's and that McDonald's would NEVER give you your money back or make you new food. (I don't know what McDonald's he worked at that wouldn't fix something for a customer like every other McDonald's in the world would.) At this point I lost it and threw the tacos at his feet before storming off. I shouldn't have done that, but I was so upset by the way this man spoke to me.Anyway, I just thought you all should know just what the owner thinks of his clientele and how he speaks to women who just want to be treated with the same respect that any McDonald's would her... well, maybe not HIS McDonald's.
Fish burrito was bomb. Reasonably priced for a hefty burrito with lots of good flavor. Salsa is great too. I never leave reviews, but honestly check these guys out, they rock and are totally worth your time and dolla. Cash only heads up
Best taco truck in Bham for Asada tacos.
Amazing so good. Veggie tacos are huge and so affordable and yummy! Highly recommend.
It was ok... Gets better after a few beers!
So good! Definitely recommend!Pico de Gallo: was really good, a bit spicy for me but my husband loved the spice level.3 tacos: we ordered the chorizo and the chicken. The chorizo was our favorite (it had a nice char and Smokeyness to it, perfect heat level) but the chicken was very flavorful and juicy. The rice was amazing!!!!!We would order double rice next time!
Fish tacos were good, carnitas were not that bad either.
We are never returning back. We have been going the past year but until now we received sloppy and super greasy tortas. I'm Mexican and these tortas were just embarrassing. Embarrassing to think that's what their giving out. The torta was soaked in oil and they added just 2 salsas after ordering 2 tortas, 1 burrito and 3 tacos plate. And everything else was also super greasy. The lady was rude and giving me attitude for asking more salsas. And it was not even busy. I have no idea how people like this place.
Good portions at a good price. The pastor and carnitas especially are very solid ?
Food is fire, good quality, good portions, for a great price. Lessssgooooooooo
