(1) Awful environment. Nearly 25 carboard boxes are covering the interior which ruins the feel as soon you enter the place and makes it feel cheap.(2) They have no menu on the wall. You grab a physical plastic menu that is way to oversized to hold without hitting someone. Which are placed at the register so you have to push past people to even see the drinks before you get ready to order. Then, once you decide what you want on that menu. You can't just tell the employees you gotta ENTER YOUR PHONE NUMBER to order and then use an IPAD (to find the drink you already decided on while waiting) with a small UI that doesn't even have the drinks in the same categories as the physical menu you just looked at. So its hard to find your drink while looking at menu that only can view 3-4 drinks at a time because the screen is too small for the thumbnails. Awful setup and makes it really slow to order for everyone.(3) I wanted to get a smoothie and add Boba. But I can't actually do that because the IPAD menu doesn't let me add it to it. Ask the employee and they said "some drinks you can't add boba to". Ok, but you can PHYSICALLY add boba to my drink, right? I can't get boba in a drink because your menu doesn't let me? Wow. What a bad design by the owner. Bet the employees get annoyed with this 10x an hour.(4) The place was dirty and dusty. You could see the dust caking the napkin dispensers. At this point I was already annoyed with this place and just noticed everything poorly done. It clearly hasn't been cleaned in awhile.(5) The actual drinks tasted AWFUL. I got 100% sugar in the milk tea and it tasted like nothing was added. My wife's drink wasn't any better. We literally threw them both in the trash without drinking them. The Taro drink is shown and a nice purple milk with foam on the menu. I was given a brown drink with no flavor. You ever tasted Taro chunks without any other flavors or sugar? I was literally given a drink of milk and taro chunks. In no way was it a tea or have any sugar. Awful.Awful place overall. I don't know how they pay rent.
Great & friendly service. I ordered online while I was on my way (I wasn't driving). The cute boba cup shaped egg puff waffle was delicious but does take 20-30 minutes so best order ahead!The boba is perfectly soft and chewy as it should be! Love that you can adjust the ice & sweetness level to your preference. My go to is 70% but I always try it at the regular the first time and adjust accordingly. They also have awesome milk & non dairy options.I made a mistake with my drink order and the staff was super friendly to help me fix my mistake!We will be back! ❤️

We wanted to use a coupon that we can’t use their automatic system. The waitress put the wrong order for us and charged us $2 for extra sago. While waiting for her so put the order, she was distracted with other customers. We waited for 30 min for them to fix their mistake. So disappointed!
Been to Yifang many times and despite the wide variety of drinks along with the many customizations, none of the drinks have disappointed. You can clearly see the fresh fruit and fruit jams they use in their fruit tea drinks, none of the artificial syrups used in other boba stores. Their pearls are consistently amazing too, never over or undercooked. Wonderful customer service, with very friendly and helpful employees. People come in just to ask for water or for parking validation and the employees will serve you with a smile on their face. The employees also seemed to be really knowledgeable and well-trained, as they were able to promptly answer any questions I had. The store itself is also very clean and modern, with a noticeable friendly atmosphere. Best taro drink I've ever had. I've gotten many taro drinks, or taro milk teas from various boba stores before, but they've all tasted artificial, like it was made with fake taro or taro syrup. However, at Yifang, both their taro milk tea, and their taro latte are made with real taro. You can taste the taro chunks in them and it's a much more genuine and rich flavor. In addition, I was very surprised my first time when I walked in when the employee at the front greeted me with an extremely friendly "Hi! Welcome in". Their customer service is incredible, with the cashier always willing to help and answer questions, and not looking down on their phone. I've seen a lot of reviews about long wait times, and although the wait times are a bit longer when it's very busy, the employees try their best to expedite everyone's orders, are extremely apologetic and respectful, and still find time to somehow manage a "thank you, have a nice day" when handing drinks over to customers.
I want to love Yifang, but there is some serious miscommunication going on between the owners and the employees at this location. In the past, I’ve tried to redeem two advertised promotional offers, one from Passport and one from Visit Bellevue, and both times the staff had no clue what it was. Now, I bought a surprise bag from TooGoodToGo, but when myself and 2 other groups showed up, they had never heard of it and were really unprofessional about it, laughing amongst each other. I hope the owners start better informing the employees because while the drinks are great, the service isn’t.edit: to clarify, the two offers were many months ago, not yesterday.edit 2: went back today and they still had no clue what it was. Whoever is running this business has zero connection to the employees.
An absolute hidden gem. The tea flavor is authentic and pleasant without being too strong, which mixes delightfully with a generous serving of soft and chewy pearls. Such a combination is understandably rare. I would rate 10 stars if I could--this Taiwanese tea place exceeded my expectations by far. The only dissatisfactory comment is that this place does not accept cash...just a heads up to please bring your credit/debit cards to order on a kiosk. Otherwise, 10/10 from an experienced bubble tea drinker.
