I stopped going here since last week. I went there three times and every time they said my food will be ready not more than 25mins. Ok, I waited, they come in and say 5mins and those 5mins never comes and passes 2 hours such a waste of time. I would have given minus if I could but the filter coffee is good so for this I am giving 1star. Never ever going back again. If you could go else where please go and have your food in time, else you will be waiting for lifetime.

Kya yaar, many Indian restaurants are skimping on basic service. Thali dish was sad. And it’s served in styrofoam. Was only customer and heard microwave cook my food. I hate to diss an Indian business but after two tries I’ll never eat here again. You guys need to clean up your act.

Decent place for having South Indian tiffin items. Ordered idly & vada. Both were served piping hot with sambhar and chutney. Idly was soft .Chutney was fresh and tasty. Sambhar &?Service could have been better. Best to dine in rather than to take out.

Disappointing. Third grade.Too expensive compared to the standard of food, ambience and service.Rest of the food items aside, first time I saw bidibelibhat so watery and full of potatoes.Brought sambar in small plastic container that usually would be used for sauce/chutney. I did take a few bites of dosa but couldn’t get to sambar looking at the container. And finally left without eating, and enjoyed Taco Bell instead.I am not sure what are Bellevue city protocol to let a place like this operate.1. No Covid precautions, spoons and forks are kept in plastic boxes that can be touched by anyone2. They serve hot sambar in plastic container3. Hot bisibelibhat served in bowl not meant to serve hot food, container was absorbing all the liquid

A small area, less staff or covid are no reasons to serve food that's below average. We'd always go to honest restaurant next door, but wanted try this place for so long based on someone's recommendation. Never again. We ordered South Indian Thali and Butter Masala Dosa. Let me begin by saying that the dosa was decent. Chutney was okay. That's where it ends. The sambhar is basically a cold mixture of sambhar powder and water blended together. That's it. The thali was served in a really bad state. And I found a piece of scotch tape in my phulka which I promptly handed to them. In my "South Indian Thali", I had phulka, chana masala, dal sambhar and avial. And stale Basmati Rice. The food was subpar and made me detest South Indian food for several days to come. One can only hope that they improve their standards to at least their dosa level, soon.Still not sure why it's called Udupi Cafe!

What a shameFrom entering (you are not even sure whether it is open or closed), to cleanliness (I had to wipe table after shifting 3 tables) , lack of Covid protocols followed in way plastic ware is placed, and less we talk about food quality then better it is (Sambar was just powder in hot water and bissibelli Basth was full of half cooked potatoes). I am pretty sure that they will not prefer to eat their own cooked food because of quality…Shame! Shame! Shame!

If I could, I would give this place minus stars!Ordered take out, they said 20 minutes, we reached after 20 minutes and waited another 20minutes. This place has never been wiped down! Disgusting place to be/sit. Food was very salty, very oily! I ate their food yesterday and fell sick middle of the night- vomiting and diarrhea! BIG ? for this place!

A really good place to do uber delivery order. The food is tasty, ordered pongal and paper roast. They have one of the best dosa around but they haven’t kept the place clean. Not sure about the quality of the food as well.I am giving the rating since the front desk and customer area is terribly kept. Your foot could feel the floor is sticky. The freezer looks bad, every menu has food left over it(you could get sambhar and chutney from menu). I wish the owners read the review and do something.

Udupi cafe is the 'pure veg' section of curry club which is right next door is what I was told by the host. It looks like an old store room or something which is weird but the idly and wada were pretty good. Sambar was yum. They did take a long time to prepare the order though.

Tasty sambar, not so good idli. Owner took the extra effort to serve late night idli, extra star for that.
