It is one of those bakeries that does not throw out burnt stuff buy try to package the burnt side down. Be aware.
Located inside H Mart - Kind and efficient staff. I ordered a red velvet cake and it was beautiful and tasty. It was moist and we liked the frosting. It came with a cake cutter with two matches inside the handle of it! Also came with candles which was convenient because I had originally got this cake to celebrate my sisters and my birthday together.
Located inside H-Mart (Bellevue), a Korean supermarket (which is probably why it is unknown to more customers since it is at a corner), "Tous Les Jours" sounds like a French brand and is actually closer to Asian style (or "Western" style in China but not found familiar at American bakery store).Competitive to larger merchandising branch (e.g. 85 degree), it is a very small store. For years, the biscuits, bread, and coffee/green tea rolls are mostly a family can pick up from its shelf area. And for birthday occasions or once for a while, why not buy a pretty birthday/cream cakes (rather than window shopping while grocery at H-Mart)?
Ordered birthday cakes for my daughter's 1st birthday a week in advance and had our friends pick the order. When we got the cakes, it was completely wrong order - chocolate instead of mango cloud cake. Did not expect this from such a good bakery. Only saving grace was that the cakes were still delicious.
Horrible customer service. Not everyone but this particular cashier is very rude, inattentive, difficult to understand, and condescending. The first time, she was barely paying attention and I had to wait minutes for her to get off texting on her phone. This time, she got our cake order wrong to begin with and then called to say the cake won't be available which is fine but then couldn't give us clear answer as to what will be available. Then she instead asked if we've ever ordered cakes before in a condescending manner. We've ordered multiple cakes before from Tous Les Jour. We go to TLJ a few times a week. Will make effort to not go to this location.
Rude cashier ruined the experience - We went there to order a birthday cake. The cashier was very rude and ignorant to our questions and requests. She made a mistake in our order despite I was trying to tell her multiple times which cake we wanted to order. At the time when we picked up the cake, she insisted that we didn't pay for the cake despite it had only been 2 days since we placed the order, particularly we spent quite a bit time during check-out (mostly due to her ignorance). We finally had to talk to a manager and show them the charge on our credit card to prove we had already paid for the cake. Very negative experience overall because of this cashier.
Can you guys put more chocolate chips in chocolate croissant? No chelates at all. and more creams for cream bread?
I really like this bakery. I was gifted a pack of macarons from here once and it was delicious. I liked trying all the flavors and seeing what they were. No mystery flavors, they were all coming through clear as day and so tasty. For today, we thought we would buy some boba ice cream pops like we bought in uwajjimaya once, but didn't find them here. The bakery was still open so we found a mini mocha cheese cake and mini cheese cake. We also tried some jelly drinks and they were the perfect complement. Wonderful dessert!!
Delicious birthday cakes with affordable rate....I bought mango cloud #2 birthday cake for my son's birthday. The cake looks awesome and very tasty.... The store is located inside the H-mart... The staff is very friendly.. ?
Very unprofessional service. They do not know how to communicate well over phone and do not provide any receipt for the orders given nor deliver. It seems in my case the order that I placed after talking for about 10 mins on phone was not placed. Had to go through the frustration of placing the order who doesn’t understand English and also didn’t get any birthday cake ?? never buying anything from this place ever and do not recommend to anyone!! Save yourself the disappointment.
