Had the chicken and the mutton one. The curries were delicious. I asked mild and the spice level was too much although I insisted on the very mild as it has to be kid friendly. The mango lassi was good. Service was good too, not too long wait for the order to come.
Note: The rating I've given is based only on the chicken and mutton roles I've had here. You get excellent rolls here. Its authenticity is parallel to the frankies found on the streets of Bombay. There's nothing I can think of that was lacking in the chicken and mutton rolls I've had. The rolls were not greasy. The mint chutney and freshly chopped coriander elevated the freshness of the gravy and meat in the roll. The chicken was super juicy. The egg in the roll added a sense of wholeness to the role. I was asked what spice level I would prefer on a scale of 1 to 5, and I said 3. The spice level of the roll ended up being exactly how I needed it to be.What could be better? The mutton could have been juicier. A tip for the cook: next time you go shopping for lamb/goat meat, try to get local meat with the shoulder/rib/leg cut. These cuts of meat are the most juiciest and most tender. If I find myself revisiting this place the next time I am in Seattle, I would try the rice bowl with some nice chicken/mutton curry.
The food here is great, there’s no doubt about that. However, the staff has been extremely careless recently. The last three times we ordered here, our bill was over $50 for just two roll pods or a roll pod and a salad pod. When we ask them about it, they apologize and correct it. However, I’ve been duped once and have accidentally overpaid here. Please be extremely vigilant of the contents of your order BEFORE YOU PAY. Our experience in the last three months is that we’ve been OVERCHARGED 3 out of 5 times.Apart from this, please be extremely careful and check your order before you leave the place. We’ve been handed other orders or just completely missing things in our order. And lastly, their spicy sauce is super spicy. You’ve been warned.
The same standard as the roll pod food truck downtown. The rolls have a lot more fillings than salad may be compared to ones you get on the food truck. They have decent vegetarian options on the menu. The green chutney and fillings inside rolls are tasty. The menu can be a bit confusing to read if you are not familiar with their food truck before.
Tried their pav bhaji combo pod- you get 1 pav and 1 roll. The taste was deliciously good.Good for per person. Also tried tri-pod combo- 3 roll pod- I tried paneer masala, chilly paneer and aloo. Aloo roll was disappointment, but, 10/10 for the paneer rolls. Spice 3/5 and if you are vegetarian please mention 'no egg'.Service is good.
Tried chicken and paneer rolls. Didn't like the paneer roll much. But the quality is really good. Highly recommend. Also must try the rose lassi???
Ordered 2 items for pickup. We felt it small for a $50 order asked if they have kept everything ordered only to find later that one of item missing.Staff is not apologetic and asked to come and collect the missing item and one who answers phone didn’t know what to do and asked to come later.Food is also spicy
Amazing rolls, tried paneer masala and ordered 4/5 spicy and it was actual spicy for me (Indian) will definitely return for a quick not so heavy roll. Also all rolls come sit egg, if you’re vegan/vegetarian do mention the roll without egg
Very good fast Indian food. We got the mutton masala, chicken masala, fried fish, chicken chili, and a veggie one all with egg in the roll. I would recommend 2 for most people. I got 3 and was stuffed after 2.5.The flavors were all really good. 0 complaints. The chili ones are spicy ? beware. 1 star for other flavors were perfect for me. Great for covid times eating in the car.
Delicious food. Had a roll and a rice bowl. Food was fresh and tasty. Level 3 spice was just right. Not too spicy but spicy enough!
