We had a nice lunch here recently, with an excellent server. I had French dip au jus, which I would recommend, with super onion rings.
For a sports bar, they are incredibly unaccommodating to sports fans. I wanted to watch the penguins playoff game on one of their many tvs with my wife. We didn't ask for sound or anything. We ordered $80 of food and drinks over the first 2 and a half periods. We ordered food to take home when we weren't even hungry. Yet we were constantly being pushed. There were 5 minutes left in a tied playoff game and -- after being pushed to get boxes when both tables around us were empty -- the waitress said, "we're not trying to kick you out, but how much time is left on this game?". It was an unnecessarily bad experience. I had even given her a 30% tip. We left when it was tied at the end of the 3rd because we felt pressured to do so. We won't be going back.
The Pumphouse is an epic oasis in the midst of yuppified Bellevue high fallootin' trendy upscale boutique eateries......it is timeless and perfect in an unassuming and classic way. We had the French dip which was perfection and the taco salad. Both were excellent!! I find that most french dips contain the leather of old worn out shoes.....Pumphouse french dip had perfectly cooked pink and brown roast beef! Imagine that! The taco salad was also perfection. The tap beer selection is substantial and varied....we love that too! We will go back, fer sure!!
Awesome place. Great food, reasonably priced, excellent service. If you're in Bellevue for lunch - this place won't disappoint.
Nice vibe and friendly service. Lots of beer options. Good outdoor covered patio area with heaters - think big event tent. Great option for outside seating during cold and rainy weather.
A long established sports bar in Bellevue with a good selection of meals, appetizers, and beers on tap. 4 starts due to the philly cheesteak having gone on a diet since the last time I enjoyed it ... Not sure I would order it again. Waitstaff is always excellent and the patron's are always interesting to chat up.
Great little hidden gem!Food was fantastic! Service was great( I sat at the bar, would have gotten a 5 star but I sat behind cooler or some machine?) Other than that, drinks were on point and the atmosphere was good! ?
Delicious burger for lunch. Better get there early. Place fills up quickly.
This is a great spot to watch the game. It's low-key and there are TVs EVERYWHERE. They even have speakers in the bathroom so you don't miss anything while you're in there. Also, the food is surprisingly good. It's pub food, but some of the best I've had. ??
Great spot. Lots of TVs for sports viewing. Great breakfast menu and hours. The bar is slightly raised seating and is the best place to belly up. Fantastic staff and pretty consistent rotation of tap beers.
