Very typical “old” neighborhood pub that hasn’t seen an update to the interior in decades. Seats are torn and showing years of wear. The carpet is long gone from being able to tell what the original color was. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and other than having an excellent health rating from the municipality the food is not even on par for average. I ordered a french dip with waffle fries and a Guinness. The best part was simply the Guinness as although it’s possible to serve a bad beer it was quite refreshing. As for the French Dip and fries they left much to be desired. The French Dip was small and disappointing as it was nothing more than a small hoagie roll with 2, maybe 3, slices of roast beef warmed up. The waffle fries were quite bland and even slightly undercooked. I will say though there was no taste of old fryer oil so they obviously do keep that fresh. Overall, definitely not a place I would return too.
Classic dive sports bar. The noise level is unreal, you can't even have a conversation with any one so you drink beer and smile.
All of the tables were dirty, still covered with plates and cups from previous guests. They need a dishwasher or busboy to clean the tables and tidy up.
Great dive bar, good food, darts and pool. Great spot to hang out while your lady gets her hair done!

Went here for post-work drinks with coworkers to let off steam.Atmosphere is definitely "pub". It's a dive, and an oddly placed one at that, but the food is greasy and flavorful, and the beer is plentiful. A solid spot to get buzzed with good company.My only complaint is the noise levels. Look, I get some people want to listen to their sports, but do you really need to blast it throughout the whole place at max volume? I could hear it just fine even from 30 feet away before someone decided to tape down the "up volume" button and completely dash any hopes of having a reasonable conversation with the person next to you...Deafness aside, it's worth dropping by if you just want to relax a bit midweek.
