I'm giving 2 stars because of the size of the meal. I was really looking forward to a delicious meal. Everything was cooked properly but it lacked flavor. This was the most bland, disappointing, and expensive seafood I've ever had. It was basically just steamed and a little Old Bay sprinkled on it. We also received bread with the meal. It was tasty but difficult to cut through the crust. Won't return to try anything else.
Be aware that if you want a lake view table you have to add a comment on your booking otherwise they will end up sending you to the very back even tough they have tables with view, food was amazing as read in other reviews
I saw a lot of people having early Fathers Day meals with some large groups. I tried to stop some places but they were closed mid-afternoon so stopped here by default. Had Crab stuff mushrooms-very good and Oysters Rockefeller which were so-so. Price not bad but in the shell so too dark and not so appetizing in appearance. Good snack.
Great food and service. Only complaint was where we were seated the sun was directly in my eyes. The experience is fun.Sun set while there, and was much more enjoyable. I have a shrimp allergy. I had a slight reaction. I imagine it would be hard to keep it completely seperated. They were told and did their best to keep it from my food. It could have been much worse.
My family used to come here for special occasions so they were looking forward to taking me here. Well, we left feeling underwhelmed. Walk in and you are greeted with the smell of old fish refuse. The seats were not conmfortable. The waitress was inattentive The prices are too high. My shrimp was quite tasty and a generous portion. However a dish like this shouldhave been served with some bread and some wetnaps. . My cousin's crab cakes were fair but it was a very small portion. THe salad was unimpressive. THe pieces of lettuce cucumber, tomato, and cruton were to big to go into your mouth or fit on a fork. No knife was given to us to cut them down to size. When asked about the house salad dressing, our waitress couldn't answer the question. This should be something you can hang your hat on! Our water glasses were not refilled. The waitress did not check on us. Parking is plintiful. Ambience would be good if the service had been better and the kitchen garbage smell did not permeate the restaurant. All in all dissapointingf for anywhere Even more so with a place that carries the good reputation this place carries.
Made a reservation here for dinner with a friend and really enjoyed everything. The place has a really nice vibe and a nice view by the water. They were also playing Christmas music which had a nice feel about it.We got fresh bread as soon as we got there. It was warm and just baked and perfect! I had the bread at the crab pot in Seattle but it wasn't as good. For the entree I got the garden salad with a salmon skewer and a raspberry vinaigrette Salmon was cooked just right but I feel it could have had some more flavor. The fish was very plain on its own. That raspberry vinaigrette? It was just amazing! I wouldn't have minded having just that vinaigrette by itself. Even took the left over ( I had asked for it on the side) home!Really a keeper. My boyfriend and friend both got the king salmon with roast veggies. They both dropped the potatoes and asked for extra vegetables instead. Their meals were amazing. The plate came steaming . I could actually see the steam coming off the vegetables and salmon there. As for the taste.. The salmon was just beautiful! That seasoning was really good. Only needed to add little bit salt on there. I really love the vegetables as well! They were so perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked and tender. Only wish they had given a little more of the greens like the beans and broccoli instead of the overload of carrots.Otherwise a really good place.
This place has beautiful view if you sit by the windowThe menus design to get 2 from their special food you cannot order one so double the priceIn the picture there are 2 order from western and 2 order from another special which I don’t remember the namePricey placeFun
I was truly excited to go to the Crab Pot for the first time. After all I've heard about it for years, just never made it to one. Well... I went. Guess I really wasn't missing anything before. The service was pretty good. We ordered the sea feast (which is no listed on the website, how dumb is that?) and everything tasted the same. Just tastes like whatever the red seasoning is that is dumped by the truckload on everything. The decor of the place is really old and outdated. I would not say its bad, but I don't see myself going again. There are so many better sea food options in Seattle/Bellevue area to try that its just not worth the cost here.
I went to the crab pot the other day when I got home my stomach started cramping up & best believe I had food poisoning I go in and talk with them they kick me out saying food poisoning take 24hrs to kick in Just watch your food I felt like they had mines sitting out too long or something
Ehh it was okay. Once in a while for a different environments dinning is good. The food was okay, its a bit plain, had to ask for lime and old bay spice for flavor. The services was great, the waiters was nice and polite.
