Excellent selections of food, leaning towards spicy, but as someone who can't handle a lot, I have no problem finding plenty of things I love. The green beans are amazing. They have an online ordering form, but they prefer customers call directly to order. Understandable, considering the fees. Never had a problem in the several years I've been ordering here.
Loved all the dishes that I got and 1) is one of the better Sichuan places I have tried on the East side that, 2) did not make me sick after eating. Will be back again for sure.Be aware of using their "website" to order. We were told straight up by the owner not to use it as it is third party and they charge a hefty service fee and it is disguised as WA state taxes on your confirmation. Really sus. The "website" isn't actually connected to the restaurant in any way and a person hired by the website actually has to physically call the restaurant to place the order for you. This isn't always done promptly causing significant wait times for your food. You might as well just call in the other yourself.
I've ordered from Szechuan Chef multiple times now, and it's one of my top 2 favorite restaurants in the area. It's soooooo tasty and the portions are great for the price. When I get a craving for that szechuan peppercorn tingle, this is usually where I go.
I accidentally placed my order here on the phone, confusing this restaurant for another restaurant, but I want to leave 5 stars because the customer service was so friendly! I am so happy they were kind and understanding. I hope to try their food next time!
Good Szechuan food. Tried the Beef, fish and eggplant. Recommended. Plenty of choices for going low on spice and for the 5? lovers out there.Decent service and they checked vaccination status as per the state mandate.Will return again for the fish definitely.
A decent place for a go to chinese food. Food is good, it has the perfect szechaun taste. The portion size is relatively good for the price. Service is nice. Kids friendly place. They don't have kids menu but you can tell them your spice level.
Ordered eggplant in garlic sauce to go on Wednesday 9/15, tasty. However, the gentleman that helped had a severe attitude when he learned I didn't leave a tip. Firstly, the product is 30% overprice, which is crazy. Secondly, the order was to go and not dine in. Sorry, I'm from the northeast and tipping on takeouts is not expected or done.
Ordered the Mongolian Beef and Spicy Eggplant lunch specials. Both were delicious and packed full of flavor. Will be back for more soon!
