Most comfortable panera bread ?. Fireplace. Always good service. Only 3 blocks from Bellevue Square Mall.My favorite lunch place when shopping ? at the mall. Your a small ways away so less noise and never to busy ?
The food is alright but the staff’s attitude stinks. I arrived 5 minutes before they closed to pick up my online order. I parked right in front of the restaurant in a spot designated for pick up, and their staff decided to lock the doors even though i was right there and there was still 5 minutes before they close. I called their number and waited a good 5-10 minutes before another staff came to my rescue. I confronted the staff who locked the door about the situation, to which she responded with “we’re really busy” in most indifferent attitude. Not even an apology. I’m sure you’re really busy closing up so you can get out of work early, who cares if we customers can’t pick up our order. If you'd like to be treated with basic respect and professionalism, I suggest you visit the Factoria location instead. This location stinks.
I stood at the register for a good 3 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. I figured maybe they are short staffed so I was just waiting a bit. Then I had to be like “Excuse me? Is anyone working the register?” The woman said “Oh I can take your order.” I’m like why didn’t anyone say anything to me while I was just standing there? They could see me…I was in their line of sight - like at least 3 employees saw me standing there and just went about preparing other orders without telling me that someone would come soon to assist me. I felt like I was being ignored. Terrible experience and was about to walk out.It was 9:30am and they didn’t have any sesame bagels! I could understand them running out later in the day but how the heck do you have no sesame bagels that early in the morning…Then I got my decaf coffee and it was ridiculously watered down. Also the wifi here is the worst public wifi I’ve ever encountered. They should just not even advertise that they have wifi…you can’t even load a simple web page.Such a disappointment. I absolutely love Panera (although it’s ridiculously overpriced!) and I would be a frequent customer here if they kept their standards to normal Panera expectations. What a shame to be so close to this location when the service and quality are garbage!Let me know when things have changed. I’m eager to try again!
Gosh I really wish I could give more than one star to this Panera Bread location. It's really unfortunate because the staff here is phenomenal. Every person I've ever talked to is so sweet and the assistant managers or managers seem to really care to make improvements but every single visit has been an absolute disaster with orders being completed incorrectly, the food not tasting the same as other Panera Bread locations, it literally takes them forever to get your order out where it doesn't matter if you're a walk-in or ordering in advance on the app or doing quick roadside pick-up. All of it is unfortunately severely delayed and by the time you get the food, it's cold, sloppy and pretty unpleasant. I just don't know what it is but I wish they would improve on the quality of the food they prepare the timeliness and for the price that you pay you really have to give what you pay for. Again, I have found the staff delightful and lovely to do business with but this particular location definitely does not meet the standards that I've seen at other Panera Breads.
This is by far the worst Panera Bread I have been too. They operate unprofessional and have no accountability. If you give someone's paid order to the wrong person, then that is on them. Not the customer and you don't charge the customer for your mistake. Huge lack of ethics and morals here and supporting this location only supports this poor behavior.
Same blah Panera taste but decent if you’re trying to choose healthier options for dining out. The service is slow and their wifi is slower. What really bothers me is that for a place that is supposed to be known for freshness, why continue to have flies in the open bakery section and in the bathrooms???
My family ordered two breakfast sandwiches (sausage egg cheese on bangle) and dine in option. It took 20+ mins for the store manager and staff to make the sandwiches. 10 mins after the order was placed, they did not start preparing the food, my family order was the only one left on the dine in queue. I asked the manager when they would be able to prepare the food and I was going to be late for my company meeting. The manager told me to wait patiently and they would let me know when food was ready. 15 mins after the order placed, they still did not start preparing the food, one of the staffs started to walk to the front desk bakery area to grab two cheese bagels. 18mins passed, they started to heat the bagels and make the eggs. At 20mins, the manager told me that if I wanted to get food fast they need to do bacon instead of sausage. Here’s is her exact verbatim “Madam, you need to understand sausage takes time to cook, so if you need food fast you should consider changing the order to bacon.” She did not even say a single word of apology, the attitude was rude. It was totally unbelievable and unacceptable that after 20mins the store manager told me to understand sausage take time to cook and I should consider modifying my order, no apologies at all… My family has been a long time loyal customer of Panera, we love their food and customer service. We were extremely upset and disappointed about the new manager at the Bellevue location Panera store, I should have taken down the manager’s name and report to Panera customer service.
The food was fine but I ordered ahead for pickup ASAP. It took 40 minutes for 4 items, one being a cookie and the other soup which are both pre made. I was a ten minute drive away so I stood by the rapid pick up shelves for a half hour. There was no line when I came in and several people came in, ordered at the front, and got their food before I did. Should've just ordered inside. Several employees saw me standing in the same spot for 30 minutes, including a woman who looked like a shift manager because she had street clothes on, and it's kinda odd none of them asked if they could check on my order.
I love this restaurant. I come here for any business I need to do. Lovely atmosphere and perfect food.
On a windy rainy PNW day, we hit up Panera for some soup and sammiches. It was the busy lunch rush and I got there before my order was prepared. As I was waiting, I watched the lady at the counter hustle to get orders out for pick-ups and dine-ins. I even heard her call out the my order, "turkey bravo no tomatoes", like "Yes!" it's coming up. I drove home and finally sat down for lunch to find, yup, you guessed it, tomatoes! We were stuck eating soggy tomatoe juice bread sandwiches. Thanks Panera!
