Earl grey and matcha slices are the best!Pistachio is my favorite nut but not the best in a cake form.Seasonal green tea cake was a bit too sweet with the frosting outside.Still love the classics. $9 per piece.
Pop up in Bellevue Mall bringing the famous New York crepe cakes to Seattle. The cakes themselves are so creamy and reminded me of an ice cream cake. However, the price point hit hard at around $9 for a slice. Okay yeah that's pretty insane, but I feel like crepe cakes are generally expensive hovering around $6-7 so the name brand and quality making up $2 isn't too bad. Prices aren't very clear once you step in, but if you know the name Lady M, you're familiar with a price range.Their newest addition was the tres lesches but we asked the two workers at the time about their favorites. Their responses were pistachio, marron mille, and tiramisu. We opted for the first response, the pistachio. Pistachio is generally mild in flavor but I couldn't taste it at all. My partner said there was a hint of pistachio though. Regardless, it was super smooth and once again, reminiscent of ice cream cake.
$9 for a tiny piece of cake ? I tried earl greay and green tea. Not mind-blowing. Nothing special. Just cake. For NINE DOLLARS A PIECE! Not worth it. And believe me, I truly adored and enjoyed almost every cake that I ever tried. I basically exist to eat cake. Cake is the main reason I'm still alive on this planet... not this one tho... no. It's just NO.
Yummy crepe cakes! If you buy 12 slices to piece together a whole cake, this is what it looks like.
I see a lot of haters in this comment section..But I'm here to set the record straight and say that even though the cakes could be considered pricey, they're worth every penny!I've tried their cakes multiple times, and it's safe to say that they're phenomenal!I just wish they had a Boutique closer to the Seattle area.If you have a hard time choosing what to get, I'd recommend getting the Signature, Green Tea, and Tiramisu cakes.
We tried the Tres Leches and the Pistachio. Interesting assortment of flavors but the cake slices were expensive, priced at $9. The slices crumbled and flattened with each bite and so it was definitely disappointing ! They also offer entire cakes. Check @AWorldOnMyPlate in Instagram for seattle based content.
It’s so overrated , $10 for a slice of cake is not the main problem .Every single layers of this cake is so dry and chewy , If I don’t see this is a crepe cake , I’d thing I’m eating something like cream taste eraserIt’s so chewy that the fork won’t even do anything .
Overrated & EXPENSIVE!!!! We saw this place at Bellevue Mall pop-up. Got 4 slices for about $38. Tried it out and it was not that good. Just okay. We had better and cheaper. The cake we had was recommended by the staff.
Mille Crêpes were pretty good but would have been even better if it had even more layers. The mouth feel is a little lacking and I much prefer a tall mille crêpe for the full effect of the effort that goes into making it. Matcha flavor was very nice with a decent grade match being used. Early Grey was a touch too sweet for me, but has a wonderful bergamot tea aroma. The original flavor is nice too if you like something more subtle but still very flavorful.
Been a fan of Lady M since my first visit to the Upper East Side location in NY many years ago. I’ve been fortunate to have had it in the financial district location as well as the one I’m LA.Was psyched that u guys opened in Bellevue and have been there several times since.Went there for 2 slices today and asked your employee for a particular slice of the crepe cake. She scoffed as if miffed that I wanted a particular slice. You guys usually have the most polite, courteous servers so this was a little shocking. If I’m spending 10 dollars for an undersized slice of cake, I think I should be able to pick the particular one I’d like no?I know many service workers are “young people” but please do a better job of training them on customer service. This is a luxury brand not a Wendy’s.The cashier was super polite and friendly though.
