The food is great but I have to say I had a bad experience here in terms of the service. The server, an old-looking man with glasses, tipped us by entering the amount at the counter himself without asking our opinion or giving us receipt in advance. Also the tips amount was after-taxation and we asked for an explanation. And this guy just came towards us, using Chinese (because I am also Chinese although there was a native American friend near me), saying some sarcastic words like "you are so poor". What the actual hell is this??? What will he do if we are not the people from the same country? It is totally okay if you guys want to make a forced "after-taxation" tips with a fair explanation. But what on the earth do you mean by having your employees insulting us??1 star. Worst restaurant experience ever in the great Seattle.

The tech in this place is really fun. Conveyor belts, robots delivering good and drinks help speed up serving time. But if you are looking for good Japanese food go elsewhere. Bland sushi, boring udon and miso soups, just tasted like factory food. We won’t be going back.

We had the worst experience on Mother’s Day at Kiku sushi. I would give negative stars if I could.Short version is that it’s an inconsistent place. they lost our trust entirely that they may actually care about customers at all.We walked in and a girl pleasantly greeted us, we said we will do take out. She passed us the menu and let us wait on the side and call her when we are ready then she stepped out. It has been normal so far. When we were ready to order we walked to the front desk to wait for someone, after a while an older woman came and rudely said to us they don’t do take out, (we didn’t have a chance to tell what we were going to order yet!) There was no apology at all and made us feel we were being shoot out like garbage which we definitely don’t deserve. They do advertise that they do take out. We were tired and hungry after a long day but got this treatment from them. We will not go to this place again nor will us introduce any friends to this place. If a restaurant doesn’t care about their customers they won’t really care about the food they serve you.If you like a trustworthy place that consistently provide what they serve, do not go to this place.

Great Japanese food in nice clean and friendly environment. Food is consistently good. Service is also good. I have not given 5 stars because it is not spectacular but really good.

I take my mom here every week as this is her favorite Japenese restaurant in town. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. The staff is highly efficient and friendly. They have a fabulous and extensive dinner menu and I only wish they would offer some of the dinner appetizers for lunch as well because they are absolutely delicious. Some examples are fried oysters, eggplant with miso sauce and grilled fish. Place is not big and gets crowded quickly so better make rez for dinner!

Food is good but the wait time is unbearable. I watched multiple groups of people sit and be served before I ever got my takeout. If you have a few hours to spare be my guest, otherwise just go elsewhere. I won't be coming back any time soon

Japanese owned small sushi restaurant. It used to be inside Uwajimaya like 20 years ago when Uwajimaya used to be in the Trader Joe's space. The owner Sato-san (main sushi chef) is the nicest person and his chefs and servers have been there over 10 years. Love the food. Always my go to spot for sushi. I love their Seafood Champon noodle too. I think this place is underrated for sure! I like Kiku Shushi food more than I Love Sushi and their food is more expensive. I've been going there over 20 years and never had food quality or missordering issues. I sincerely hope they stay open for as long as they can, I know everyone there is getting older there and probably average age is 60 haha. But it makes the restaurant into nice calming mood.

I dont know why I haven't eaten here before now. The food was authentic and great, though the menu may not be as expansive than similar restaurants. They specialize in appetizers, sushi and bento boxes, but they have some other entrees and noodle bowls. The restaurant is actually larger than expected, but honestly sitting up front seems better because the service is better. The bento boxes are great and come with your choice of sashimi or rolls. We also tried the curry chicken katsu, seafood noodle and several rolls. Everything was great, and the food came out faster than anywhere else I can remember and even faster than some fast food places. We didn't have a reservation, and it wasn't a problem, but I would reccomend making them in the future as there was alot of traffic, people ordering takeout, etc. I would highly advise trying Kiku Sushi.

Great bento boxes and sushi. I own the physical therapy clinic 2 doors down and me and my staff get Kiko every week!

Typical American Japanese restaurant. Their food is pretty good but not great. The price is also fair.
