a week ago or so, i went in and ordered my usual. except the brown rice had gone bad that day. not wanting to make a big deal cause i dont care that much, i accepted white rice and did not want a refund [it's only $1.50 afterall]fast forward, went in again and ordered my usual. i explained the previous visit and asked if the brown rice could be complimentary this time. the server was very kind and agreed. i go here a lot, and today i finally write a review (: love that they opened a location walking distance of me too !

Ordered the mango pudding, and it came in two small sauce containers. For 4.5$, I expected a lot more pudding than 3 spoons worth. The matcha pudding came in a reasonable container, making me feel like they ran out of the mango and gave us samples they would normally give for free after a meal as a sample or something. They also forgot to give us the curry somehow

Terrible dining experience. We came here because it's on Seattle restaurant week list. Table is not wiped, floor is dirty with dust and leaves. Food looks unappetizing, sauce on salad is not in liquid form. Carrots are weirdly shaped, bad texture, fried chicken is soggy.. the waiter doesn't care, is playing his phone, we had to find utensils ourselves, serve water ourselves.

I ordered the braised beef curry with brown rice and added a boiled egg. The curry and beef were surprisingly tasty. This place knows how to make a high quality curry. I found the price a bit high, but was happy with the meal.

I love Japanese curry, and I was not impressed at all. I do love curry, so I am still giving it three stars.

Have been here several times. Amazing food, definitely the best restaurant in this area. The affordable price is a bonus point. However, last Sunday I went here again, it was my first time served by the male cashier. He was so rude. A fly in the ointment destroyed the entire experience. I believe Truc above who rated 1 star was also served by him, because the girl cashier has always been very nice.Feeling bad and not been here for a few days. I do miss the food so yesterday I was going to dine in here again, but through the glass door I saw it was him, then I decided to go to Subway next door. What a pity.

Friendly service, clean dining room. Mild curry still had some fire in it.

Amazing food! Prices are very good for the meals you get.

The curry flavor was decent but not great. The shishito peppers were quite good with the white sauce. The karaage chicken breading was soggy, but that might be due to it being take out.Happy hour prices in the afternoon might be the saving grace.

Their name is pretty accurate to the experience. Both the food and service seems like they were hurried. Pretty sloppy Japanese food. Would not like to revisit.
