Consistently good with an extensive, largely Sichuan menu. Per the name, the fried fish dishes are excellent. Could use a few more vegetable dishes, but those they have are very good - the flash fried green beans in particular. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Seattle area.

One of our favorite Chinese restaurant!Their crabs are must have - very fresh and perfectly cooked. Haven’t found anywhere else in Seattle did it better than frying fish.Of course their boiling fish is great as well.Other stir fried dishes are great as well, my fav is cumin lab and stir fired dried green bean 干煸四季豆Very friendly service. Fair price for the food quality they are providing! :)

One of the very few places that offer the authentic and delicious Szechuan food.

I love this place! We order from this restaurant almost every week. The spicy crab is our favorite, and we like almost all the dishes. We used to like Kong Pao chicken, but the flavor changed a few months back (some chicken fat taste).

Have been loyal customer of Frying Fish for years, and like almost every dish of it. Since pandemic, we order take-out food 1-2 times every week from Frying fish. However, in our most recent order earlier this week, we have been extremely disappointed. We ordered the signature dish "Quan Shui live fish" (the price is ~$60) for take-out along with several other dishes. The front-desk person told me it took about 20 minutes to prepare. But when we ate it after arriving home, we immediately realized it was not made by "live" fish. Don't ask me how, cause if you have eaten the real "live fish" for years, you will know right away. We felt disgusting and disappointed, and dumped the entire dish.I understand it may be a hard time for restaurants during the pandemic. But please keep the high standard and don't fool customers.

Best place if you life spicy Chinese food

Amazing frying fish, please choose live fish, much better!

Good food and service. Taste is very authentic. The main courses are fish — frying fish :) we ordered a special, I thought it was pretty good, portion and taste wise. My husband thought it was a bit tasteless and thought it should be more spicy given its Szechuan.

Frying Fish is our family favorite Chinese food spot in the Pacific Northwest. The food is incredibly tasty and the service is top notch. We love it so much and have been coming here for so long that the staff already knows our kids since they were very young. On top of great food and service, the place is squeaky clean!

Good food portion and nice service. And the place is clean and normally don’t have to wait to get seated ?
