Now I'm a southern bell and for this to be the "best fried chicken" no way. There was No seasoning on the chicken. I did not think that mashed potatoes could be bad. They would have been better off using box mash potatoes and packaged gravy. Also, don't get me started on the Mac and cheese no ma'am all wrong. If you have to go to the store and add to your food not good. Would not recommend at all. Now it may have been the wrong location I went to or they just was having a bad day. Will say Customer service was excellent.
Very good flavorful okra and gizzards. The chicken strips were okay, the dipping sauce was great.
Check your box of chicken before you leave. My chicken was dryer than the Sahara desert. The makoto i and cheese was bland and uneventful. Beans were good, biscuit good. Overall it was not wven 1 star.
They typically give two thighs and one drumstick for the three-piece meal. However, I have recently been getting one thigh and two drumsticks. This is not enough to fill the stomach of a grown man and it is really upsetting that they are cutting costs like this. I used to love this place.

Cannot recommend this location for takeout during peak times. They have no organized system for picking up online orders and seem to prioritize DoorDash orders over actual customers who are picking up themselves. During my last visit, this meant waiting 20 minutes after my stated pickup time. I notified them twice that I was there to pickup an order, but they continued to prepare orders for delivery drivers who would come in.
Ezell's has the best chicken in the area- hands down. I have never had an issue with my food here. Always tasty and fresh. My favorite sauces are probably their ranch or honey mustard.
Great chicken, friendly people, and quick service. This is what you want, and it's not a chain. Happy to support this place and keep up the bitchin chicken!
Tonight's the third time!!!! In less than two months of giving me the wrong order....all I want is my two piece spicy white meat with Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes....she refuses to give me what I ask for it's unreal. I've been eating ezells for some years now and I saw the owners the other night and I mentioned it to him I would have thought he surely would make sure that his staff knows what's a "two peice spicy white meat is" it's just a breast and a wing.
I really enjoy the 1/2lb lunch combo with mashed potatoes. Sometimes I get spicy, sometimes not.
