Such an amazing restaurant here! Glad we finally gave this place a try, it is so good. Highly recommend checking this place out, the food and drinks are absolutely incredible.
This place's service and food are both unpleasant for our first experience.It wasn't busy when we dine in, we requested a high chair but it never came after we sat done for a few minutes, so we have to go back to out car and grabbed our own ( they still haven't get our highchair after we walked 2 blocks back and forth).Then when we ordered 2 apps, 2 dumplings and 2 noodle dishes. The dumplings were okay but the dough were a bit too thick. The beef noodle was a bit tasteless and the few slices of beef were soooo thin the sunlight could pass through it. The steam pork dumpling does not come with any ginger slices and the chili oil was tasteless. The soy bean noodle were no were to be seen even after we ordered another steam dumpling.They gave us the check when we are almost done which is fine but the server went to grab the Clover machine right now and came ba k to wait by us while we were eating, so we had to rush to get out cards out. We chose to skip tips on the machine and left cash on the table.When we were still getting the kid ready, not leaving the table yet, another server came out and told us we need to tip after eating, I pointed to the table without saying anything, the server asked again you have to tip here, so we point to the table again telling the server we did leave the tip. Although there server apologize after knowing the tips were on the table but the overall experience was just terrible.
Hidden gem, quite location near the Bellevue library. Food is very good and well presented! Large portion of rice and noodles. I ordered the pork rice and half the plate came with stewed pork! What you get is exactly as how it looks on the menu. Good for couples here for both Chinese and non Chinese. It was very good amount of food for the price we paid, especially comparing to other restaurants. The only downside is that the food was served a bit slow. Apparently they were a bit under staffed.
I love this place. Pan fried BAOs are my favorite. Always freshly made. Went there tonight at 8:20 before they closed the door at 9 and they still made the BAOs fresh for me. I will keep coming back for the pan fried BAOs.
Not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Food was decent and service was pleasant. There’s garage parking at the back of the restaurant.
So happy we found this place! I would compare it to Dough Zone, with northern Chinese style dumplings and noodles. The pan fried buns were the standout for me, but everything was delicious.Parking was easy- there is a group dedicated retail parking spaces under Avalon apartments.Note- there is a sweet spot to eating the XLB. Too soon, and you’ll melt your tongue. Too late, and the soup has been absorbed by the thick-style wrapping. Good luck! There is soy sauce and black vinegar on the table, for dipping.The only snafu was that we ordered beef curry, and received chicken. My daughter had nearly finished the bowl before she mentioned anything to me, so we didn’t bother to bring it up to the waiter. Haha. Oh well. Next time!
Just needed a public restroom. Was willing to make a purchase. After understandably being refused by a hair place just west, Dumpling & Noodles graciously allowed me to use theirs even though the kitchen was closed. I even had offered to buy a drink. But the kindness was extended without any purchase attached.I’m from out of state but this is a place I’d recommend checking out if I were staying! Thank you Dumping & Noodles this senior aged Texan will remember the kindnesses the next time I’m in town!!!
Fortunate to have tried this wonderful place and be able to enjoy items from their menu. Food was tasty and their beef noodle soup was filling. Their XLB is ? and love how they bring food out individually. Perhaps offer some rice to truly experience full Asian fusion.
We ordered dumpling & noodle for dinner. These were good: light, crunchy and tasty.
This place is amazing. The dumpling was perfect and we couldn't stop eating.
