Another coffee shop in Seattle? To gain a foot hold here is difficult. Remember Starbucks? Anyway, Dote is unique. It sources many of its beams from Africa. The hazelnut mocha and the honey black mocha are unreal. So smooth and satisfying. Still have a few bucks left in the wallet, just spend that on the almost crossant. It’s expensive…. but it is good.
I had almond milk latte. It was really good. The first sip had a little bitterness, not too bad. Following that was rich and strong flavor of natural sweetness. No acidity. Not smoky. One of the best latte I have had. The staff were friendly.
Overpriced & overrated like anything in Bellevue honestly very disappointed. I usually go to Dilettante Mocha Café at Bellefield Office Park near by, will stick to that. I’m a huge coffee connoisseur and this mocha taste like pure milk. I’ve asked for 2%. I don’t wanna be one of those people complaining but when you’re paying that much for a cup of coffee in such an expensive area better be the best damn coffee I’ve ever had!
Very friendly staff and best coffee in Bellevue by a very long way. I didn’t try the bakery items but did see that they were popular.
Incredible coffee, i tried the madagascar vanilla latte, also ask for the temperture of the coffee at 80º and they just did it perfectI would said the best coffee i tried in seattle. The barist did a really good job. She know what she was doing. The personal really nice. For sure coming back
I heard about this place so much, So whenI came to visit friends and family,I just had to come to Dote Coffee Bar. Well it’s amazing, best coffee in the area. Madagascar vanilla latte. Highly recommended. I came from New Jersey and was not disappointed at all. I’m here for a couple more days and will be here a few more times. Please come try Dote Coffee Bar. You’ll feel the same way I did.
Wow I was not expecting to have the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life in a fancy food hall. For the first time in my years of coffee drinking has an espresso drink managed to reveal complex notes in the coffee without overwhelming me with bitterness or sweetness.I got a vanilla bean white mocha and it is PERFECTION! The white chocolate is a sweet backdrop that does not drown out any other flavor. The natural vanilla is subtle, bringing an almost floral note to the drink.Right now (april 2022) the food hall is 90% closed so there is tons of seating, it is fairly quiet, and the atmosphere is great. For now its a great place to work but I'll be back to get my favorite coffee regardless of what changes.
They remade a drink for my wife even though the mistake was ours. We forgot to mention lactose free milk substitute. A line had just piled up and Dote Coffee Bar was really nice and said they would remake it, but it would be a second because of the line. Regardless, they remade the drink really fast. Such a nice customer service. Thank you! She really liked the drink too - 9 out of 10. A little strange taste for me tho. Still, customer service wins outright.
Hip Coffee spot. One of the best coffees I've had and I travel quite a bit so that says a lot. They make their own syrups, judging by the flavor and the bottles with actual vanilla beans in them. I bought their ganaches to take home when I left. We're enjoying them very well still.
Tried here on a trip to Seattle. They have great coffee and friendly staff. Convenient location near our hotel.
