This is one of my favorite bars in the area, so I decided to rent out the back lounge to host my 40th birthday. I had a group of around 35-40 people and we all fit in there very comfortable. They have a special menu of appetizers to choose from that all sounded amazing, but I picked several of them that sounded the best or most interesting. The food, as expected of Chef Jason Wilson, was all amazing. I typically will try a couple of the specialty cocktails on the menu, but I mostly like to order some standard classic cocktails. All of the cocktails were well crafted and the bar staff was very helpful. All of my guests seemed to have a great time. I would definitely recommend the place for hosting your events.

I had made a reservation at The Lakehouse, but, due to a corporate event, our rez had to be moved to Civility (the related bar downstairs). What could have been a disappointing turn of events turned into one of the absolute best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant - a huge thanks to Simon Pringle, the Assistant Manager at The Lakehouse. Simon’s sincerity, attentiveness, and kindness ensured that, despite our rez being cancelled at The Lakehouse, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Civility - our appetizers and dinner (from The Lakehouse menu) were great, and Simon also selected a fantastic bottle of wine for us. I would highly recommend The Lakehouse and Civility because of the great experience we had (thanks again, Simon!).

We’ve dined at The Lakehouse a few times and were very excited to try their sister spot, Civility and Unrest. We finally went last night and didn’t have a reservation. Told the wait was 15 minutes, but a table was ready for us before that which was nice. However, our experience there was much less than ideal. I don’t mind slow service because I understand that servers are busy with other customers. However, what I do mind is being treated as a second-class patron. We only saw our server three times the entire night, while the table of 8 next to us were treated like kings. They had gotten three rounds of drinks before our first had even arrived. We ordered two tequila shots after our first round, but waited over twenty minutes just for them to arrive while the table next to us continued to get VIP treatment. We decided to leave after that because we were so disappointed in our experience. Definitely will not be coming back as long as the staff continues to treat paying customers differently.

Enjoyed a well-made vodka martini here. The ambiance reminds me of New York - it’s narrow and intimate and cozy. I really enjoyed it.We also ordered the calamari and another appetizer I’m blanking on. Both were tasty.Prices are in line for Bellevue.

It was my birthday and my ID was in my car. Instead of telling me I need to get it, the ‘manager’ told me I could go somewhere else instead. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been to some genuinely terrible places, but I have never been treated this poorly at an establishment. The management at this place needs to learn how to treat people. Just because you pay rent in Bellevue, does not mean that you can treat people so embarrassingly. ‘Management’ implies at least some bare minimum skill in dealing with folks. The individual tonight, was one of the worst I have dealt with. My experience spans many countries and contexts — I have never been treated like this. Maybe you don’t care about my individual experience, but you need to do better. This establishment truly makes this whole city look bad.

The atmosphere is intimate. It is small bar so it does get a little noisy which is fine. For being a cocktail bar their menu is very limited. The drinks themselves were okay...they had great flavor on the front but it quickly faded into nothing on the back.

This place is a ton of fun with a great atmosphere. Ask to be seated in the back, because it has a nice speakeasy mood there. Our bartender, Jason, was amazing and absolutely makes the difference! His attitude and care towards customers makes you feel like you're long time friends or family finally coming back for a reunion. 11/10 will recommend.

Place is great but i always take issue with places that don't tell you about the 20% auto gratuity. Seems sneaky like you're trying to rip me off. 5 stars otherwise.

Really amazing quiet spot inside the level of the W Hotel. Superb lighting in a dim setting, very sexy atmosphere

This is a really classy bar however, the best attribute of this bar is the service by the bartender Raul!! He was awesome during our visit. He made us feel welcome from the first moment. He is a great mixologist, he prepared our drinks the way we wanted and used the spirits that we liked. Awesome service Raul! We’ll be back to visit you again!
