"Yes, we are open. We are open every day of the year, except Christmas Day." This was just what I wanted to hear when my 85-year-old mother decided, on a whim, on Easter Day, mind you, that she wanted "restaurant pancakes" for breakfast. I had been to Chace's a couple of times before, and I knew already that they were a local secret delight, but the fact that they were open on Easter was just the cherry on the sundae. Mom had the Jim's assortment pancake sampler, and I had corned beef hash and the sampler. The pancake sampler is both fun and excellent - three dollar-sized buttermilk pancakes, two dollar-sized buckwheat pancakes, a small fresh potato pancake, and a strawberries crepe pancake. Comes with butter, sour cream and apple compote, as well as maple syrup for drizzling. Delicious!
I had time for a quick breakfast. Stopped here and didn't see a large crowd yet so I decided I could get in breakfast. Waitress was very hyper but she sure had both the front and the back of the restaurant along with pick up and delivery moving smoothly, as did other staff. She got me seated right away. I was in a hurry and ordered eggs sunny side up, hash browns and whole wheat toast. Service with menu, coffee and food were quite quick. If I had more time, I would have looked closer at the menu and maybe choose something else because it looked like there were some other good choices. Eggs and hash browns excellent. Toast awful-hard as a rock. Everything was a blast from the past. Tickets with a pencil, a whiteboard for take out orders and notes on wall. Floors and some tables etc. need some repair but overall a good experience. I want to come back and try other items and see if I get the same service.

I love this place so much! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is great and at a nice price. They have plenty of parking spaces, one is just in front of their house, and the other one just need to use another entrance at the main st.
I've been a Chace's fan since 1990! It's an old Bellevue relic and a great place to enjoy a laid back breakfast with friends or solo. I'm so glad they've been able to adapt to survive the pandemic. I would love to see Chace's continue to evolve... And at the same time if it stays exactly the same that's great too!!
A lifetime of memories from childhood, don't get to Chase's very often as we live out of town. A good breakfast at honest prices (especially for Bellevue!). If you've never been then give it a shot. Can be crowded on weekend mornings.
went early for breakfast and its just a neighborhood homey place. server was nice. seems like a place that has a lot of regulars. food was really good. the home fries were airy and crispy but not greasy. pancakes and french toast were on point. the crepes were probably better. yum!

The Chases were our neighbors and friends from way back! Wonderful family! We took swimming lessons in their pool and always loved coming in after church for breakfast at Chases Pancake Corral!! Always has been our favorite place!
This place is really authentic and the portions are big. However, it can get really hot in this tiny restaurant.Don't stress if you don't fit in their tiny lot since there is an open park-n-ride lot right next door.I ordered the blueberry pancakes with compote and hash brown omelet. I liked the pancakes even though they were a little dense but I wasn't a fan of the hash brown omelet. I ordered it with extra cheese and there was still almost no cheese except on top. Instead, it was all potato with 2-3 eggs and no meat.I am not giving up on this place because my mom and her good friend eat here regularly and love it. I am wondering if I just came on the wrong day or ordered the wrong items from the menu. I spent about thirty dollars on breakfast so that I could try more than one menu item and I had to give the food a 7 out of 10.Useful 5 Funny 2 Cool 4
