Cute little coffee shop with some indoor and outdoor seating areas. I got one of their signature lattes (creme brulee), and was happy that the drink was not too sweet, it was just perfect. Friendly staff, quick service.
1. Staff not friendly.(Ordered food and we sat outside by the balcony and the staff told us that they will let us know when the food is ready. Usually if a location has outside sitting they have a bell or staff comes to let you know so we though we will get notified but waiting 20 mins still didn’t get any notice so I go inside and see our drinks and food just on the counter? While ordering staff was not friendly, literally Seattle people needs to fix their attitude. Don’t stand behind the counter if you don’t want to work and stop making customer uncomfortable and ruin someones day.)2. It was my first time visiting because they had good reviews, unfortunately the food was nasty.- The PIGGY BUN was cute but don’t know when they made it the cooking paper or the baking paper was sticked to the bun and it was hard to remove. After ripping apart the fillings inside was so little and tasted like plastic.- CRISPY HONG KONG sandwich was unbelievable. They should change the name to messy sandwich or something else because it wasn’t crispy at all. As soon you try to take a bite the top part would just fall off and it’s really hard to eat and it was too salty.-MATCHA EGG TART- it was ok but the filling was so little and the matcha wasn’t that great.-DRINKS- Anywhere you go Iced Americano tastes most likely the same and green tea they just use tea bag and add ice on it for $3.50 and that’s a large? Then if I order the small one is it on a tea cup is my wonder.Business owner needs to improve staffing (customer service) and food. Literally wasted time and money here.
The spicy charsiu HK sandwich was a delightful take on the classic breakfast egg sandwich. The sweet egg bun complimented the spicy sauce and pork floss. The egg itself was a small fluffy omelet with tasty tidbits mixed in.
Wow always wanted to go here and I’m impressed! The food was amazing as well as the drinks. The sandwich was so unique having the sweet egg bun on top. The drinks weren’t too sweet so that’s a plus. The rest of the food were great.
Another dog-friendly breakfast spot! Their HK crispy egg sandwich is ohhhh so good. I prefer the SPAM just cuz SPAM. But the sausage is also good with a nice touch of minced ginger. The eggs are fluffy and juicy, balanced out by the pineapple bun’s sweetness. The melted cheese, ahhhh great texture. The egg tart and piggy custard bao is also good but kinda Smol.Overall great! Clean and neat environment with plenty of street parking on a Sunday.
The baked goods and sandwiches are so good. I love pineapple buns so I waited for them to finish the morning batch so we could get some. They were very polite in telling me that it would be 20 minutes until the next batch of baked buns would be ready and I happily agreed to wait.I was disappointed that though I waited 45 minutes (10:15-11am) after ordering them, they decided to replace my pineapple buns with other baked goods because they didnt have enough for sandwiches they sold after I ordered. I waited that long only because we were excited for those buns.I totally understand why they did it, as sandwiches sell for higher price, but I do not agree with them essentially selling what I already paid for to someone else after allowing me to wait so long for my order.I wasn’t going to leave a review, but those buns were for my daughter and she was disappointed when we didn’t have them. And that was the point that I was annoyed thinking back about how they sold them to me and then I didn’t even get them when they came out of the oven.It was my first visit here and I felt I was very patient and tipped well. So after all of this, I feel that not giving me what I waited nearly an hour for was bad business. Though I enjoyed these pastries so much, I cant really justify returning after this kind of treatment. I live too far away to drive 30 minutes only to wait 45 more for food that may or may not be given to me after I paid for it. If i had gotten what I paid for (we spent $70 on food/drinks), I would have not mentioned the wait and left a higher review.Stars for the good food. But I won’t return. I hope this review causes them to rethink knowingly overselling their food.
I was browsing for new cafes in the area and stumbled across this cute little cafe in bellevue! What really caught my eye before going is that they have crispy barbecue buns! Parking was easy to find, there is street parking and also a parking lot close by. When I entered I was greeted which made me feel welcomed. They have a beautiful showcase which showcases all of their pastries. They have cute little piggy buns on display. I ordered a crispy barbecue bun, original egg tart and a sea salt crema latte. The crispy barbecue bun was so delicious, the top outside was so crispy and as soon as you would bit into it, it brings joy to your taste buds. The egg tart was yummy too, no complaints. Last of all the sea salt crema latte was so good, it’s really a drink you can sip on and enjoy. The inside of this cafe is really cute too, there’s plenty of seating for you to enjoy your time there and on top of that there’s free Wi-Fi! Overall I was very pleased on the customer service and great presentation of the cafe. The food and drinks were amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try other things they offer.
Piggy bun that is so cute you would feel guilty taking a bite. Tasteful treats and nice place to hang out. Coffee was good too, departure from the “S” brand was welcomed. Parking would be on the side street. Would definitely visit again.
The HK style breakfast sandwich is my favorite! The sweet, crunchy bread goes well with the salty spam. The staff is super friendly and the space itself is cute. The coffee is pretty good, too.
Loved my Brown Sugar Oat milk Latte and the HK Spam breakfast sandwich was SO good!!! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!
