I thought chipotle tacos were expensive until I went to this place. 4$ for each taco with barely any toppings. Tacos were decent but the quality doesn’t justify the price point.
The portions are small but the prices are also low. This is to be expected with street tacos! There isn't a lot of variety to the actual taco flavors, only 4 choices. We got a lot of different things but they were all pretty basic. The restaurant is located in a dining hall with a self-serve water jug off to the side. The kids cheese quesadilla is a good size and bigger than the actual tacos!
When we placed our order they made us aware there wasn’t any beef left, which was fine. But they kept telling us over and over there wasn’t any beef left in a condescending way, whenever we asked questions about the food she treated us like we were stupid. She turned around and spoke Spanish to the men there while laughing calling us stupid because she thought we didn’t know Spanish. Her hand gestures towards us were rude, she acted as if she was too cool to work there. We only ordered because the kids were hungry and they needed to eat after the parade.Food was awful. No flavor and chicken was like rubber. Their salsa was sour. Spent $100 for nothing. Overpriced awful food. Don’t go here! Do not recommend, in fact someone was trying to find this place and we told them never go there! They went somewhere else.
Barrio Luchador is located in the food court within Lincoln Square. They have a breakfast menu that is economic and good. My regular go-to is the veggie burrito. It has avocado, eggs and potatoes in it. Take note though that their breakfast menu hours are 10-12pm only. Recommend.
I will say the taste was great. BUT the $6 breakfast burrito was tiny. Comparison size: smaller than a $1 mcdonald's burrito. And that's just sausage, there's nothing CHORIZO about it. There was so little ingredients that I couldn't even see half of them especially the guacamole. Again the taste was great, but no where near worth the price.
Worst place I've gone to 4 bucks per taco these little things the girl that took my order need to clean her ears or something super rude and had to keep repeating my order and still didn't get it right. 30 bucks. Don't waste your hard working money on a place like this that's what's wrong with the young don't know good service just wants to get u out as quick as possible. Won't come back here
Don’t Uber eats here the man working here said he did not receive my order I’ve order over 500 Uber eats orders never had that problem. Showed him my receipt the bank payment proof of order and the app. Nothing he refused to make my order and said he never got it. I would say avoid at all costs
Extremely delicious vegetarian breakfast burrito. Great chips and guacamole. Salsa and pickled veggie bar (when open) is great too.
I got the tacos, a chicken quesadilla, salsa and chips, and a couple of drinks. The tacos were okay but really needed extra hot sauce or something because even though the meat was good, it was just lacking in flavor.This was a to go order and when we didn’t notice til we got home they didn’t give us any salsa with our chips and salsa order.Chicken quesadilla had no chicken in it.Most of these things are not big deals but for the fact i spent $67 including tip there just for enough for two people so it wasn’t cheap. All I know is I wish I didn’t ever come here because it cost so much but was below average.
