My friend and I had dinner at Angelo’s after running into long lines at other restaurants. It had been years since we had been there. It was wonderful from the beginning greeting, to the friendly waitperson, the delicious meal, and to top it off the prices were reasonable. The other thing we noticed was how quiet it was even with a number of other guests in the restaurant. Delightful, delicious, low key dinner.
This place is amazing. My step family is Italian, and they have traditionally made amazing Italian seafood entrées for the holidays. This reminds me of home, and definitely raises the bar for my expectations for Italian cuisine in the Seattle area. Got the Black Spaghetti this time, which is a seafood dish on squid-ink spaghetti. It looks magical and tastes gourmet. 10/10.
One of our all-time favorite restaurant. Food is excellent. Everything we've ever ordered has been excellent. Service is great. We like to go regularly
It is a true classic Italian restaurant where you are a family member. My chicken marsala dinner and spumoni ice cream dessert was fantastic.
Good atmosphere, great service, drinks are good. We had the fettuccini chicken and ravioli feggacio. We thought they would be safe options because it was our first time here, but they were bad. They were both bad. Chicken was dry and tasted old. Fettuccine tasted unlike any fettuccine I’ve had before, in a bad way. Just tasted off. Ravioli tasted off too, and just not good. The sauce wasn’t very good and the inside tasted strange and just bad. The servers were amazing, but the food is so bad it doesn’t make up for it. Definitely just one of those weird Italian places that make you nauseous afterward.
Had dinner here a few nights ago. We showed up early, so there weren't too many people at the time. We ordered the black pasta with seafood and eggplant parmigiana. Overall description of the food is "average at best". The food hardly had any flavor. The black pasta (spaghetti) was overcooked and the sauce tasted like they just poured in the water the pasta was cooked in. It was a white wine sauce, so it's expected to be light, but this was flavorless. The seafood was decent. Same problem with the eggplant parmigiana— lacking in flavor. It was our first time here and probably our last. Two stars because the people seemed friendly and it's not a chain (it felt like a locals place), otherwise, I'd probably give it one star. For $100, it should be significantly better.
Reservations recommended on weekends! They can get busy, but are a delicious local Italian place. They don't have bruschetta on their menu, but thankfully I saw some locals order it off menu and we did too. So much yum. Their angel hair is perfectly scrumptious.
Lunch in the bar. Ordered something not on lunch menu. Chef took care and performed A-1. No complaints. Bar tender (Judd?) Was fantastic. Thank you for the experience. (First time in this joint.)
Fantastic service and excellent food. I visited for a business meeting with 2 others in my party. I had the sausage & peppers meal while the other two had a veal Marsala and a veal saltambucca. Everyone loved their food. We each had a cheesecake for dessert as well. Parking is free of charge but lot was relatively full around 5pm when we arrived so plan for that.
Great restaurant. Don't be deceived by the looks from the outside, its cozy and inviting on the inside. It has a very warm atmosphere, with great personal service - providing a lot of guidance/recommendation on food/alcohol selection. We were able to get custom dishes prepared that satisfied my wife's specific requirements. Really loved Penne pesto pasta and Tiramisu. Happy to have found a place that makes great pesto.
