good food and good people.
Went for breakfast yesterday. The worst I've had in a long time. Hubby ordered bacon and eggs, hash browns and toast. He ended up with the senior breakfast which had 2 puny sliced of bacon and one egg with a few hash browns and 2 very soggy pieces if toast. I got the senior omelet and it was so greasy I could hardly eat it. It actually tasted like stale grease. Denny's used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I'll never go back.
I have been going to Denny's for years but hadn't been in a while. My daughter and I decided to stop by there for breakfast. I was looking forward to their delicious pancakes. Didn't get those... When they arrived I immediately knew they were not as they used to be. They were flat with no fluff, hard and not warm at all. The butter just sat on top.. I asked for them to be redone. They were better but not even close to how I remembered them being before. The eggs and the bacon were OK and the coffee was hot so I will give them that. The menu said they had flavored creamers but they didn't. Disappointed.
I visited this location around 12 am and the staff was still so amazing and bubbly. My server Lexi went above and beyond, she was so quick with drinks even though she was clearly the only server and there were quite a few tables she was juggling. I usually am not a fan of Denny's primarily because of the customer service and wait times but this experience completely changed my mind. The food was incredible! I had to ask to thank the cook, Robert, because I had never tasted anything like that at a Denny's. If you're looking for the perfect late night snack this is it, hopefully you will be blessed with Lexi and Robert and be sure appreciate the stellar service this graveyard team provided!
Went there in the evening and it's was pretty empty. No surprise there, with the pandemic. I guess they were short staffed cause the night shift manager took it order, but she was great and fun to talk to.
Had a nice late night breakfast pretty good 4 6 and 8 dollar menu. They had 6 dollar slam that was pretty good waitress was kind and courteous but the only one on floor she did pretty well just had to remind her for the toast that I added to meal and it was there promptly. Even faster than I expected. Really the only reason they didn't get five stars. Waitress did handle the floor by herself and I never seen or heard anyone else have any problems at all.Hey Denny's the girl needs a raise you don't pay her enough. ??
I ordered country fried steak. My eggs and hash browns were cold. Was told there biscuits were good. My biscuit was wet and spongy like cake. Was not impressed. Won't be back...
I'm old enough to remember a time when cooks took more pride in all they prepare.Whenever I order eggs sunny side up, I'm always justifiably concerned because they can't seem to get it right.The eggs are usually fried to a crisp on the underside while the top is raw and slimy.I've tried to get them to correct it but they've always come back over cooked with hard egg yokes.The sunny side up cooked eggs are shown in the menu as done perfectly, if this can't be done the same way, they should stop making it seem as though they can, it's misleading and just as unprofessional as not being able to do it correctly to order!! Disgusting ?
Store was very cold! Understandable that service was very slow due to the holiday. However, there was no excuse for cold food. The young man that served seemed very confused on the order of customer arrivals and served new customers before us that were there first. Will visit again, but not under the circumstances of a holiday.
Great service! Our waitresse Betty was one of the best waitresses ive ever had anywhere in a very long time! It was Christmas day and she would check on us at all the right times,and gave us lots of time to choose our meal! Did not rush us!! And made us feel not alone on Christmas day by acknowledging it was Christmas! It is usually a very depressing time of year for both myself and my Fiance!
