Terrible service. I could tell the girl at the front counter was trying to complete our order. But she wasn't getting cooperation from her team. She couldn't find the cookie dough. They were yelling at each other. The blizzards we ordered took forever, were made in the back room, and had messy ice-cream spilled all over the cups. Our cheeseburger was microwaved and served. Warm pickles....yum. We won't be going back.
Stopped to get a bite to eat on our way to the airport. No signs on the door stating the lobby was closed. They didn't say anything until after had ordered and paid. Asked if we could at least use the outside chairs and tables but no not allowed. If you are going to have the lobby doors open and not provide lobby seating you need to do 1 of 2 things...1 lock the lobby doors and place a sign saying drive thru only (This would make the most sense) or 2 at least have a door on the lobby door saying to go orders only. Had either of these options would have been done we wouldn't have even stopped. Not to mention they left out an order of fries, didn't follow directions, and the fries were definitely cold and probably not the freshest. Burger patty did not appear to be real beef, one thing for sure all DQ's are not equal and I won't stop at one outside of Texas ever again
I placed an order through the mobile app since the line was taking so long through the drive-through because their dining room is permanently closed. I let them know at the window who the order was for and they told me to stay in line. When I got to the window they asked me to clarify which order was mine and I did so. They then asked if we ordered any drinks. (Can’t they see that from the order?) so I let them know. We were given our meals however we noticed there was no onion rings. I asked them about it and they informed us they were out of onion rings at that time instead of letting me know before completing the order. I asked for a refund and they told me they could not provide a refund or any gift certificate to comp. I was told I had to go through the app to request a refund. I asked the manager if he could show me how and he said he could not. They didn’t even give us our blizzards. I paid additional for the blizzards and the onion rings that we did not receive. I have submitted the request however their response is that they are dealing with a higher than usual volume of inquiries and may be able to get back to me. This is not promising.Lessons:1. Their dining room is permanently closed.2. Don’t order here.3. Don’t expect a refund if they cannot provide the service you paid for.
We ordered 2 banana splits and a child cone. They hardly had any ice cream. You used to get 3 heap, like ice cream tops. The bananas were literally crispy. I have never heard of a crunchy banana. The kid cone was all sloppy and running down the side. They also made one banana split and set it aside to do other things before they got to our second one. As long as we had to wait in line, they should have had our order ready when we got to the window. We will go else where from now on.
Waited in drive thru with two cars ahead of me ok I am fine with the wait for one small blizzard. The gal at drive thru was incredibly rude rambling off some orders that weren’t mine than asking if I placed my order through the intercom?I replied yes so as she is frazzled took my debit card, yelling out to make the blizzard I ordered, to the two other employees that are working behind her who look embarrassed and humiliated because they see how rude, frazzled she is. When they go to make my blizzard, mysteriously there was my blizzard sitting next to her basically at this point a water down milkshake that she basically throws at me , I’m still sitting there patiently waiting for my debit card back while she is doing whatever she is doing the nice young lady in back comes to window asking if I needed anything I said just my card back. She was polite,I don’t want negative reflection on her but the young lady at the register taking orders needs some leadership and training in customer service. I Understand busy and working under pressure and times have been strange but to be out right rude is unacceptable. Dairy Queen is known for blizzards you would think consistency would be key in your training but after what I just received and paid 6.49 for I would rather taken my granddaughter to get a McFlurry for half the price. I wouldn’t recommend this location if you are looking for customer service.
Not much good about this place. First of all, in April 2022, the lobby is still closed (presumably due to COVID), making ordering at the drive-thru required. The problem is they are SLOW; I got stuck behind a car whose order took about 15 minutes. Instead of asking that car to pull over like other restaurants do, they made us both wait for that first car's order, even though I was only ordering a blizzard. The employees were standing around joking with each other while forcing their customers to wait what is really an inordinate amount of time for ice cream. When ordering, the drive-thru speaker is also barely audible. Can't really hear anything the employees are saying. The prices are crazy too -- to be charged $6-something for a medium blizzard, after this kind of service, is too much.I'm moving to the area so I might update the review if I get better service in the future. But I'm going to try to avoid coming here as much as possible if this trip was any indication of how the service here normally is.
If you like DQ than I assume the food is decent. I think their food is mediocre so I am biased in that. The service here was so slow. I have never waited so long to be acknowledged at the window, and usually wait 10+ minutes to get an order. The staff was nice enough but the didn't wear their masks right so it makes me concerned if they care about health & safety concerns, like do they wash their hands? I dunno
I was verbally assaulted at this location, jaysin was the worker who did it. He slammed my order into a drink carrier after I asked for one. Yelled at me for asking spoons, and continued to yell ugly things at me. Then lied and said he was a manager, I told corporate and they said they forwarded it to the franchise owner and that’s it. So it’s okay for the workers to do this, I’m pregnant and this unbelievably stressed me out. Why is it a problem for someone to go in on the super bowl and it’s not even busy to get treated like that? He was so rude and I will never conduct business here again. I suggest no one else does either, go to a different one
Occasionally get lunch here sometimes dinner but really want to go there for is the ice cream oh wow that stuff is totally amazing I don't know why but it sure good no matter what it's a good treat now and then he can clean it down I can just do what you needed to do better than candy I'll tell you that much it's a good place to have ice cream
Literally disgusting. Literally they don’t clean their machines and had a finger nail IN MY ICE CREAM. They obviously don’t clean and violate a lot of heath violations. DO NOT come here.
