Hamburger Burgers Fish & Chips

Ugh! I ate too much! Excellent food and service. Proportions are huge. Be prepared to need help with a large fry! Lol. WordOf warning…if you order the Texas Burger, don’t double the meat! With the thick onion ring in there, a second meat patty makes it so tall you cannot get your mouth over it!!! Lol. I managed to get it all eaten! ?. Also the fry sauce they have is very good with the fried zucchini, which was also well proportioned and cooked perfectly. I just needed to ask for some salt and pepper and I was in heaven! First time visit and will NOT be the last! Wonderful experience!

The fish and chips are very good and good portions for your money. The building was in bad shape, inside & out for many years when it was known as Herfy's, but has recently been remodeled a bit making it nicer to dine in. Although my wife and I miss the Christian music they used to always play. That was one of the reasons we always patronize the restaurant to support our fellow Christian businesses. Hope they will reconsider bringing that back.

This building has had a burger joint in it for about 40 years. It used to be a Herfys. Quite a few of my working friends like the food. I had a cheeseburger and fries with an Oreo shake and it was decent. I was pretty shocked at the price though. It was about $20 per person. It’s probably not THAT good.

First time here, food was really good. Burger was what I was expecting from a family owned restaurant. Hands down better then any fast food chain.

This burger spot was a pleasant surprise! Fresh and tasty burgers, good selection of food, reasonably priced, fast service and clean atmosphere. I've already eaten there twice this week!Plus: Sit down is available in restaurant, they also have a drive thru as well.

Come in for the fries, stay for the burger.I don't normally post reviews about fries but they were seriously that good. Maybe because I came during the lunch rush; but the fries were so hot and crispy I couldn't help but wonder what their secret was... piping hot, and crispy -- without being hard or burnt like the other guys. Oh and the "large" is seriously a very healthy size when you compare it to the small portions at other places... Great value. Now for the burger. I went straight for the Double Cheeseburger, as is, and honestly it was like a cross between a big mac and a Double Cheeseburger, except it tasted more like real ingredients; on what was definitely a toasted bun. And you don't get that gross over-salty feeling like McDonald's gives you about 2/3 of the way through your food. The staff seemed warm and personable and you could tell they were actually trying to provide a great dining experience for their customers and from what I could see, they were running a tidy/efficient operation beyond the scenes too.I haven't tried their fish yet, but honestly, they got the fries and burgers down so perfect I'm genuinely going to come back again for that next.Ps. it was a little over 8 bucks for the Double Cheeseburger and jumbo fries. Worth it.#suport local businesses!!!

Eaten here twice. Probably the best bang for your buck burger around. The burgers are massive and the fry portions are very large. Prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food. Great service and a very fast drive through. I just wish they had a Tacoma location so it was closer!

Stopped through town because we were craving burgers and fries. Driest, saltiest cheeseburger and the milkshakes tasted more like flavored water. It looked like it had good reviews but would not recommend

I thought the food was excellent, except the oil tasted a little over-used.I grew up in a restaurant and it is my belief that you should have dedicated oil for seafood. Also, it's more cost-effective to change your oil more often, than to lose a customer!
