Friends had recommended this place. We were so glad that we made it. Some of us ordered grinders-- so big and so tasty! Others ordered the pasta dishes-- generous tasty portions. We took home lots of boxes of leftovers. We will be back for sure.
The staff here is amazing. It's a family run business and it feels like it. I hadnt tried the business before it closed but everything looks so nice and new. I will come back and try the grinders since that's what everyone seems to rave about. My opinion of the pizza is that it's okay but doesn't blow my socks off. When I went to pick up a slice all the ingredients slid right off the dough. The baked spaghetti wasn't anything special. The food is expensive but I am not docking a star for that. Inflation is crazy, everything is expensive and staff is hard to retain so you have to pay higher wages. But I had higher expectations. Also, the salad could use more veggies other than just iceberg lettuce.
The grinder sandwiches are awesome and so is the cheesy bread.

Everything on the menu is amazing. The pizza and grinders are to die for. Owners are the nicest people ever. Feels like family. Greek style.
They are still serving food to try to stay in business. Please support them on the Facebook page. We need them back to full operation ASAP. They where with us thru COVID and want them to continue for many more years.
Love everything about this place! Best Grinders (toasted pizza sandwichs) been going here since a teen. I hope they survive covid because it has been a wonderful community favorite for years.
Pizza and chicken wings were excellent! Staff were super nice to my teens picking up our first time order!
The service, the food, the experience is always so good. The lasagna and the pizza were always so good. The house made dressings are wonderful but for us the star of the show is the grinders!!!
Right now Athens is closed due to fire damage, however they make grinder sandwiches they sell to help them at least make some income. I had a pepperoni one that they gave me the fixin's to build myself which is understandable, and heated it up at home. Absolutely delicious.
