My son and I tried this fantastic place to eat and have coffee today! I can’t believe we haven’t been here yet!! The owner was so nice and to learn the culture was so beautiful. Anacortes is blessed to have this place. My son is on crutches so he helped walk us to our car and then ran back in to get us to bowls of lentil soup ? that is the best I’ve ever had!! He didn’t even charge us for the soups!! If you haven’t been here yet please go!!
Delicious coffee, try the special Turkish coffee latte. And definitely try the menegic coffee. It's caffeine free, rich, creamy, delicious, almost nutty taste. It's made from the seeds of the wild pistachio tree, ecologically sustainably grown and harvested. It has loads of healthy properties, good for lungs, skin, hair- a superfood yet to be tapped by US health markets, so buying this stuff is still directly supporting small farmers, predominantly women! Also sells divine baklava and Turkish delights, gorgeous teas, soaps, oils, and handicrafts from Turkey. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
I haven't visited their coffee shop, but just today they opened their ZaZa Mediterranean and Turkish Food truck.Ohhhh my goodness!I've been so excited for them to open and they're awesome. I just picked up dinner for tonight including a cup of their lentil soup. I had it in my car to enjoy while still hot. Seriously, it's the best lentil soup I've had in years and wanted to share right away. I haven't even left the parking lot yet, lol. I hope everyone comes down to try them out. I'm confident you won't be disappointed.?
Tasty coffee and a really interesting and delicious coffee alternative (I think it's called the Zaza special) plus a box of dessert for the road. Might be my new favorite breakfast! The service was great and the owner is really kind. I highly recommend!
Wonderful locally owned Turkish coffee stand in Anacortes. The owner was very affable and was a great person to learn about Turkish food, coffee, and customs from. It was fun seeing him play with the Turkish spinning tops/yo-yo and see him interact with other customers. I bought some imported baklava and rose tea which I'm looking forward to trying. I also tried some of his amazing Zaza latte which was his proprietary blend of pistachio bark brewed with milk. I am a huge fan of it now and will have to buy some to have at home! Such a great place to have in Anacortes. I will be sure to return next time I come through.
I stumbled upon Zaza last weekend when we were doing a short trip outside of Bellingham to explore. Zaza is such a cool little spot - it is your quintessential coffee hub where you get to know the owner, try something new (Turkish coffee!) and make a human connection. Highly recommend - check it out!
Loved the baklava here. Eucalyptus tea was amazing and quite unique. Leo si super friendly and gave us other local recommendation.
Zaza coffee is wonderful! It’s a sweet tiny shop in Anacortes. Leo (owner) is so personal and thoughtful! His pistachio coffee is a must!
The honey citron ginger tea was one of the best drinks I have ever had! And my daughter loved the apple tea as well. Will stop by whenever we are in the area!
Delicious cold lattes, one pistachio flavor and one cardamom. Both amazing and friendly service from the owner! Generous with the dog treats! They have a small shop with Turkish items for purchase which are interesting and colorful. Great location by the marina walking path. Highly recommended!
