I am reviewing the sushi. As that's what I had. Very expensive for what you get. More rice than fish or any other item that goes into a roll. Have had better sushi rolls at Haggens.I will not return for sushi. I am willing to try their other menu items. Seems like a lot of folks like to come here.
Food is good, chicken was not dry, rice scoops were smaller than everywhere else. Didn't like the menus, would rather had the menu on the TV that played the violin music.
Been here many times and loved it. Went today (3/11/22) and the beef (meat) was terrible. Both fatty and with lots of gristle. I hope they get their quality control back under control.
Teriyaki Time has been our go-to sushi place since 2018 - they weren't inexpensive, but the sushi was high quality and generously portioned. That is unfortunately no longer the case. I was excited to introduce their sushi to an out-of-state family member, but when we picked up the very expensive sushi order (around $150 worth), the portions were extremely small (2 takeout boxes for 6 orders of nigiri and about 5 large rolls), and only some of the fish was decent. I was pretty embarrassed to have talked it up so much. Sadly, we will probably never do sushi here again. And since it is the only place in town for nigiri, that's a real shame.
We ordered three separate entrees and two sushi rolls. Everything came out perfectly and exceeded expectations. The portions are all super generous too which is really nice. The inside of the restaurant is quaint, cute and the employees were all friendly. I'm definitely going to be ordering from here again!
Decided to try this place a second time after they gave me the wrong order a couple weeks ago, and again, disappointed. Ordered two simple sushi rolls and didn’t get what I ordered, yet again. There was almost no one in the restaurant when I picked up, so I don’t believe this is due to being busy. They just don’t seem to pay attention to their customers. Will not return as I don’t particularly like paying for goods or services I don’t receive.

Foods amazing don’t get me wrong, but customer service there is a no go for me. I asked for a Chicken and shrimp yakisoba. They gave me chicken and shrimp teriyaki. Went back and gave me my order after they were arguing and they only gave me 2 pieces of shrimp, like how petty can you be? It’s not my fault you were given false information by your co-worker. Never again.
Let's face it: there are two Teriyaki places in Anacortes so they swap the #1 spot pretty regularly.After an intollerary long wait at the 'other' place last week (after phoning in an order 20-min ahead of time), we decided to try the slick on-line ordering system for Teriyaki Time - giving them the same 20-min advance notice.1. LOVED the online menu! So many choices! Current prices (good to know).2. Easy 5 minutes to wait in-store, but our order was right and food piping hot.3. Teriyaki Chicken - ample portions, 50¢ less than the other place; UDON noodle soup! Who makes that anymore? They do and it was great - loaded with chicken and noodles and maybe MSG (Uncle Roger would approve.)Dad was overseeing the friendly and efficient staff. They hustled to serve to-go and dine-in customers.They are now #1 on our Teriyaki take-out list.
