They grind their own meat blend and it is delicious. It was my first time eating there and I will certainly be back soon. The menu has a lot of variety and I can't wait to try other dishes. Everyone at our table was more than pleased.

Excellent coffee, incredible avocado toast, great service! (They should consider getting shades for the sun. It was directly in my husbands eyes. He ended up changing to my side of the table, which made it a bit cramped.) We Will be back!
Great reviews for this place so we went. There was a wait to sit but we were lucky that the area at the front window became available soon. Lovely place with great food. The owner was the first person to greet us. Lovely person who also lived in Florida prior to moving there. Had the brisket hash and eggs. Wow amazing flavors and Hugh portion. My son also loved his food. We ordered a scone to have with our coffee prior to eating it was fresh and great. The only thing I found was that they decided to close shortly after breakfast. So check their hours. All and all very good service and great food! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
They do their own meats, hot sauces and who knows what all. Got the brisket hash, filled me up for the whole day. Good coffee in proper stoneware mugs. Great service. Crowded even on a weekday after Labor Day. Loved it

I came here for a brisket sandwich but was disappointed to find out they were sold out for the day. I was not disappointed however when my pulled pork sandwich arrived. It was probably the best pulled pork I've had, let alone the let best pulled pork sandwich. Perfect size (not obnoxiously large with more slaw than pork), great flavors, and succulent pork. I highly recommend Dad's Diner Old School BBQ.
Pretty good food here! The staff is super nice and friendly. Gives a laid back atmosphere. Only downside is the sun blazes through the windows. When we come again, I’ll ask to sit in the way back as it was so hot through the window with the sun on us, I had to step out twice and another member from our party had to step out towards the end while we waited for the check. Not annoying enough not to return, but I’ll for sure ask to wait for a better table in the back to avoid that in the future. Really good food though. Tastes like “home” without having to make it or clean it yourself.
Amazing service and extremely good food in downtown Anacortes. Decor was all Dads on the walls, as an upscale diner feel but reasonable prices! Will definitely put this on my list next time we come back!
