Good food, great service & nice view of the water. Just coming back from Yorktown Battlefield for lunch. We stopped in on a Monday.

Some of the food here is really good. There is not much of a selection of seafood, but the fried fish is delicious. The other food ordered was hit and miss. I was disappointed with the staff though. The hostess never smiled and was surly. The server was somewhat friendly at first, but We met with friends we haven’t seen in over 2 years due to the US/Canadian border being closed. We ordered an appetizer and we were delayed choosing our mains (catching up, sharing wine and laughs). The second time the server came to us (once when she brought the appetizer and then 5 min later) we said we would call her when we were ready to order. After 10 minutes, once we were ready, we called her over. No smile, no friendliness at all. When she brought our food, the same attitude was there. We were there for 1.5 hours and during that time I did not see one server smile. (I was also keeping an eye on the occupancy so that we weren’t taking away other business because I do understand that restaurants make more depending on traffic.) Again, we were there for 1.5 hours, had an appetizer, a bottle of wine, and 4 mains. I have been in restaurants longer than this and have never been made to feel uncomfortable. I was here! Virginia hospitality missed this place by a country mile! So, long story short, if you want the fish and chips or the fried fish, by all means stop, but don’t expect much in the way of hospitality.

Delicious food , great service, plus amazing atmosphere and view. Don’t miss the Water Street Grill when you visit Yorktown! You will be happy that you stopped in.

Sorry we wasted our money and time there. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon. The service was extremely slow. Our waitress was nice, but that is the only positive I can give this place. Way over priced, and the food is mediocre at best. Mediocre is being kind.

My wife and I were exploring historic Yorktown VA and stopped here for lunch. It is located on the York River Riverwalk and we enjoyed the view. I had a tasty oyster poboy with a local craft beer. The service was friendly and helpful. There is a larger sister restaurant that will be opening in April.

Stopped for a late lunch on a nice day. Enjoyed nice flight of stouts and porters, fried oysters, and fish tacos. Good service, nice setting. Commensurate prices. Watched a guided missile destroyer come through the drawbridge.

If you like slow service, rude bar tenders and mediocre food then this is the place for you. Consider going elsewhere for lunch, otherwise you’ll be there long enough to eat dinner.

Our group stopped here lunch. The seafood was very good and we had a great view of the riverfront. The service was great . I had the fish and chips which was very good. There was a wide variety of menu items.

Had a nice lunch with the grandkids here. The kids menu is great with several items to choose from and with some of the largest portion sizes for kids I have seen anywhere. My only comment on the kids meals would be to be sure your grand likes parmigiana cheese as it appears the Mac and cheese is made with that instead of Cheddar or American. I had the burger…very good and my wife had the fish tacos which she deemed very good. There is a great selection of regional beers as well. Service was very nice as well and our order came out hot and as ordered.

We had lunch outside with views of the river and bridge. The menu has a wide variety of choices. I had fish and chips and fish was one very large filled which tasted very good. The old bay fries were crispy and were generously seasoned. My partner had the rib sandwich. He said it tasted good but would not have chosen if he knew how messy it was. We also had painkiller cocktails which were yummy. Would eat here again.
