I got the Pescado Azteca which used to be $13 and it's now $20.50!!! And the jumbo margarita used to be $10 and now it's $13.99! I understand, inflation.... but dang! We had to constantly ask another server to get our server because he never checked on our table. So, that was disappointing. Food was good, that's why I'm giving 3 stars... because the other servers that we had to bother were great. So I would go back as long as I'm in their section, only.
Delicious food one of the few Mexican places I like on theast coast (from California). I recommend trying the actual plates and venture away from the taco and burritos, which are good too.
Although food was good, the service was slow and the waiter was not very attentive. He took our order, brought the food, and had to be flagged down to bring the bill. He never once checked on us or asked if we would like more to drink or desserts. They weren't busy and he only had two other tables...
As everyone knows Plaza is usually GREAT, and it was still GREAT this time (March 27th, 2022) but they didn't have any white sauce which was a major buzzkill and led to only 4 stars.The Burrito San Jose (which I always get) was GREAT as usual.
The customer respect is going downhill...While we were still eating a 1/2 an hour before closing time on Wednesday evening they had already started mopping vacuuming the floors right in front of our table... "Really annoying" while trying to eat and getting rushed out!!! guests at 4 other full tables were annoyed also... How ever after posting this, the manager responded to me and addressed the issue so I changed to 5 star...
Just took my parents out to eat. Food had no flavor. I had taco de Carne asada and it had no seasoning. Mom had a burrito and said the same thing. Just cooked meat. The wait staff was good. The food came out quick. Bill was on the higher end and no alcohol was purchased. Overpriced for what it was. Disappointed.
Our experience today was unacceptable. The food was adequate, but twice during the meal other customer's birthdays were celebrated by the staff banging a snare drum and singing happy birthday. I am all for happy birthdays but the Greeter was banging the drum as hard and loud as she could as fast as she could. In that confined space it sounded like automatic weapons fire at an indoor range (I know, I'm retired military). It actually frightened some elderly folks at our table. I suggested to the cashier when leaving that the Sunday afternoon clientele of many "after church" senior citizens wasn't the same as young people at Friday or Saturday "date night." He just blew me off by saying "that's just the way it always is." WE WON'T BE BACK. There are too many other Mexican restaurants in the area with courteous staff and better customer service.
Staff is super friendly! (Armando is great!)And the food is delicious. We had the Azteca Jewel Margarita, the Enchiladas Chipotle & I had the Chori Pollo. One of my favorites! Always a fun place for family & friends. Make sure to stop by and enjoy their amazing food.

On Feb 21 I called in an order the person who answered gave me a price the hung up before I could ask when the order would be ready. Called back and the person immediately hung up on me.I will never return. If they are this rude on the phone I'm surprised they are still open
