I really wanted to like this place. The food was very good, great portions and the prices are very good. The service though is lacking. Long waits to get food and to get drink refills. A lady who was I guess the manager or owner was very nice. She checked in on us. This various servers for one table seems confusing. We heard "Oh I thought the other person got you". Just improve the service and I would be here every week. I'm going to try once more because the nachos looked amazing. I'm hoping the service will be better and I can improve this to 5 stars.
The food is great, but what really impresses me is the staff. Everyone at BHG are so polite and attentive. The fact that there is no one server assigned to a particular table works wonderfully, at least when you have servers as good as the ones here. You never have to wait for your glass to get filled, order taken or bill delivered. Great job, everyone!
The only two reasons that I give this restaurant a one star is because1-entire restaurant smells like cigarette smoke due to people coming in and out of pool room along with improper ventalation.2- customer service is absolutely terrible. Employees were not friendly, didn't check on us and not personable. The appetizers took over an hour fifteen minutes to come out.I will say the food was amazing, but the food alone is not enough to go back due to the 2 reasons above.
We stopped in to eat after a long day at the beach. We were not greeted by a host/ hostess but we were seated by a regular...first joke. We were asked about drinks but not food. After receiving our sodas 25 minutes later I had to flag a waitress down to order our food. About 15 minutes after placing our order a table was seated behind us...receiving speedy service. After waiting 45 minutes my husband asks the waitress to check on our order. She says ok and proceeds to bar tend instead. The table seated after us gets their food while we continue to wait. Finally after another 20 minutes and still no food I tell my husband I am ready to go somewhere else. We are followed out of the restaurant by a guy who works there to ask us if everything is ok because we walked out without paying.i turned around to ask him what exactly we didn't pay for because we didn't receive anything. He said our food... Mind you we were never given our food. I definitely will not ever visit this business again.
Great food, good service, always busy on the weekends! I will keep coming back for their stuffed burger and their basil mayo.
My husband and I went to the Bay Haven Grill for dinner...it was our first time there. A very diverse menu is provided. We had the flounder sandwich...you choose one side. He chose fries and I had the horseradish coleslaw. Our meals were delicious...compliments to their cook. Their is a great selection of beers, on tap and bottled. Our waitress was professional and very good. Our only criticism is that management needs to do a better job of housekeeping...windows were smeared and need to be washed. Also, floors need to be washed better.
Erin and her crew are ALWAYS top notch. Never have we had a bad experience with Bay Haven. Drinks are good, food is good. I don’t know what else to say. You’re gonna enjoy your evening out if you head up there!
Ordered their Chili to go, generous portions and it was wonderful. They have a large menu with plenty of choices. I plan on returning soon and try dining in with my husband.
Great food and great prices... But be prepared to wait. Have a drink or play some pool while you wait. One of my favorite spots in town.
So good!The chicken parm slider special was great! And my husband enjoyed his Philly cheese steak.
