Met my BFF there for Mother's Day. No line, walked right in. We got the classic seafood boil bag and it was Oh So Delicious, although it only came with a sausage and half a corn. I got extra crispy catfish, sweet potato fries and hush puppies to go for Mondays meal. No complaints, the entire meal and atmosphere was Great! Will be going back there a couple of times this summer, if I can't make it to Crazy Crab!
The food was okay. I've definitely had better. The service was..... well we got served eventually for a restaurant that wasn't even half full. My biggest issue wasn't with my food but the person behind us. They requested no sausage. They repeated this several times to the waiter and they still had sausage in their food. Then the manager said he was sorry for the "little sausage issue"... like WHAT? Now he did pay for the food that they didn't eat but how disrespectful to someone's religion and food order requests!
If you looking for boiled crawfish this is not the place. Just fly down to Louisiana and pig out for an event on some crawfish. Cooking food with no seasoning and then throwing sauce on it ain’t the answer.
Came here for the first time ever with my kids and the service and food was amazing! 118$ for 2 appetizer a broil with 2 lbs of shrimp, crabs, and clams +some extra sides as well as a basket with fried shrimp, scallops and calamari with hush puppies. And some alcoholic verges that didn't skimp on the alcohol! All in all it was an amazing evening! The service was fast and acurate, the food delicious and the music was awesome! Can't wait to go back.
We spent so much money on this food and it wasn't good. Very disappointed. We ordered a little bit of everything to try since it was out first time here. I was really looking forward to it. But I didn't look at reviews. Huge mistakeWe ordered gumbo, crab mac and cheese, crab fries, shrimp po boy and hush puppies.The gumbo was very bland, minimal spice, seafood is nearly obsolete. If you are a huge okra fan you'll love it. Tons of okra, but like 3 shrimp and a few scallops is what you get. The food almost tasted like they doubled the water and flour to lengthen the batch. The mac and cheese didn't have any flavor it was like velveeta but no salt. The crab fries- the crab mixture is just too much going on with it you can't taste the crab flavor. The hush puppies were ok. But of course that's not a meal. The shrimp po boy wasn't completely awful but it isn't good enough to carry the place for me to return. Lol Hopefully this place improves their recipe. They did greet my husband upon entry which was very polite... and the place looked clean.That's what I get I should have just cooked my own food at home. There is always food at home.

Would give this zero stars if I could. We went here for my birthday dinner. The gumbo was more rice than anything. We ordered the crab cake sandwich but they had no bread. We ordered hush puppies but they did not have that either. We ordered two orders of steamed crabs and ahrimp. Both orders crab was still frozen. Save yourself DO NOT GO THERE!
We were craving seafood. I'm allergic to shellfish so I wanted fried fish. I order the flounder with sweet potato "waffle fries". This is my family's first time trying this place since Skrimp Shack is closed, we gave it a try.My fried fish was more bread than it was fish. It reminded me more of a Captain Ds fish, in which I highly dislike. Many of the crinkled sweet potato fries were hard.My parents said their seafood orders were "okay" but didn't meet their expectations in comparison to "The Red Crab" in Fredericksburg.
My restaurant experience today was disappointing. I walked into this establishment and I was not greeted. A young lady at the register was busy assisting a customer who was ordering take-out. I noticed that there were two waitresses that were engage in conversation at the bar area with one another. These employees did not come over to assist us with seating or any other inquiries we may have had. As customers entered the restaurant, the area around the cashier became over-crowded. Note, the waiting area isn’t very big. I noticed only 4 out of 15+ tables had seated customers. I’ve eaten here before and never had this experience with the customer service. The food is great but todays customer service was unacceptable. Needless to say, my family and I left the establishment after standing for 5 minutes without being acknowledged.
5 Stars!! Great new local seafood shack!! We loved it and will be back. ??? They even had a nice 2022 display for NYE!
