Hard to find Peruvian coffee! I very much enjoyed it. The alfajores were delicious too.
Terrible customer service. I would not recommend. I needed help with their breakfast choices (because I’m not Peruvian and it all seemed strange) When I asked my questions, the lady there completely ignored all of my questions. I repeated my questions again and she responded by saying “I don’t have time to answer your questions. Are you gonna order or not ?”I did not eat breakfast at Lima Coffee Shop because they were rude and lacked customer service. Instead I went to Grind n Crepe in Occoquan (5-7 mins away) They were *kind* and respectful to me and provided kind help navigating their breakfast choices.
Pan con chicharrón!! Tamal de pollo!! Jugo de papaya ? Todo riquísimo ? Fui con mis padres (88 y 86) quienes dieron el OK al sabor, servicio cálido y buen ambiente. Súper recomendado ??
Food was delicious although we didn’t get the purpose of the shoe string “fries” that came on the side. The coffee is fresh and strong. All in all a good experience.
I was kindof nervous to try but the Fraps were amazing! My new little coffee shop to stop by on my way to work! Good Plantains are hard to find in this area and they were ON POINT. Loved them! Their fries are delicious too :)
Nicest folks, and VERY generous amounts of pork (and flavor) in their pork sandwiches ie: " Chicharrón " all meat, no grease. Capuchino was on point too.
I have been to almost every Peruvian restaurant in Virginia and this place was pretty disappointing, the staff is nice and I ordered a chicharron which was pretty good, but I also ordered a ceviche which was bad, the fish was squishy and had a weird taste, my favorite plate is ceviche so this was sad. Then I went up to pay and asked for a pack of their afrijoles, thinking these can’t be bad it’s just a Peruvian desert cookie, but I was wrong, it tasted outdated like it’s been sitting there for weeks, I’m not picky but I know the difference between a good and bad plate. This place has potential to be way better, hope they can change things around
We used to come here pretty often but recently the service and quality of the food changed. My parents got their food cold and my dad got a wrong order. Last time the tamal didn't taste good, and they still charged me even though I gave it back to them. Hope things can change.
We asked for a cold coffee with milk and cream and they gave us a regular black coffee with ice. And the plantain chips which seemed rather steamed and had no salt or flavour. I was laughing out of their dumbness LOL. You can definitely go there if you like flavourless food and cold black coffee.
Loved our food and had a good time. Great place to practice your Spanish! My favorite was the Chicharrón pork sandwich with sweet potato.
