I love this bakery! I have been using Le Cake for all of our special functions and I always recommend! You can bring any idea and their team can create it!! They have done my engagement cakes, wedding cake, anniversary cake, and most recently our daughter's first birthday cake! I will not trust any other team! Their cake is already delicious and execution is flawless!! The owners and staff are so wonderful and always available for to answer questions! I've even ruined a cake before and I was in sheer panic, but Serap and her team made it happen for me with time to spare! So grateful to you all!!The boutique is so lovely to sit and enjoy their various treats and delicious coffee! Macaroons are my favorite! Thank you Le Cake for another experience!!
We stopped in for the first time today. Pretty little bakery with quite a large selection of goodies! My toddler wolfed down her chocolate cake pop. My vanilla raspberry cupcake was delicious! The frosting was amazing— light and whipped but not overly sweet. I usually drive up to Old Town for cupcakes but I think it just found a new local favorite bakery!
Very pleasant experience with this company. It was very easy to get in touch with, and order the cake.The cake was for a baby shower. The mom to be loved it so much, she cried when she saw it! Thanks again!
We have Ordered cake from Le Cake Boutique many times for Birthdays and Weddings. They make the best cake in Washington DC/ Maryland and Virginia. I was gifted a cupcake from this bakery and was excited to see what the buzz was all about. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. The vanilla cupcake I had tasted like dry cornbread. The buttercream LITERALLY tasted like butter. I guess someone forgot to put the sugar in. The combination was more of a savory flavor than sweet but unfortunately it didn't even deliver on being a delicious savory cupcake either. The bakery definitely has the aesthetic to draw you in but not the flavor to keep me coming back. Horrible cupcakes is high on my list of things avoid.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Le Cake Boutique. Despite the snow storm and very short notice, Elis was friendly, personable, and willing to create a wonderful custom cake for my son’s birthday. She truly saved the day. And the cake was masterfully decorated and totally delicious. Her staff also packed it perfectly. I look forward to working with them again!
My daughter and i ordered 6 cupcakes from door dash to hold us over for the snowy weekend. We got two vanilla, two chocolate and two red velvet. They were dry and really firm, the frosting was hard like it had sat out. Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting are my all time favorite. I took one bite and threw It out. They tasted stale and old. The frosting has that taste like it's turned. My daughter said hers were nasty too and she tossed them all. Such a shame.
My oh my, where do I start? This spot is so cute I walked in to check it out. Super cozy, staff is very friendly. Oh 4 for $10 don’t mind if I do lol ok vanilla, lemon, chocolate raspberry, chocolate mousse. Here we go I tried to make it to the car, the cupcake was calling me, first bite I immediately turned around to let them know this is the best cupcake I’ve ever had!!!!!! ?Georgetown Cupcake you have competitionHighly recommended ❤️
I had a very bad experience. I paid $336.00 for a cake, cupcakes, and cake pops that I didn’t even like … I asked for a marble cake (chocolate and vanilla) and in return I got a cake tasting like coconut? I hate coconut period I asked for chocolate musse and in return I got a different type of filling that I didn’t even ask for … the cake was beautiful but the taste was awful and just for future references I would taste the types of cakes they offer because you won’t know what you’re getting until its paid for unfortunately
