I typically always order the food to go this time; I went with my mother and kids to eat first. We got to sit down, and we didn’t even fit and asked to be moved. The server came to us with an attitude when we were ready to pay. She saw me looking at her to get us the check. I had to ask another server to get us the review. I had it ready our server kept on ignoring us. I got up and took it to the register, signed it, and left. She didn’t deserve a tip. Once they saw that I didn’t leave a tip, they followed me to the car and told me I didn’t leave her a tip. I told the girl she didn’t deserve a tip, and she said that she did since she took the food to the table and gave us good service, and I said how do you know? And she didn’t even say a word after that.
Called to place an order for 2/4 of a chicken dark meat yellow rice beans and fried yuca upon placing the order on the phone the little girl on the other end kept on telling me there is two sides I told her yes to size and the third side which is yellow rice on each one oh that’s extra she says I continue telling her yes it is extra she continue to tell me it’s only two size so I told her if I’m asking for it that means I want it why do you keep questioning it she then went and passed it on to Melanie I need to good care of me she put on whatever I needed that she charge me for what I was asking for upon arrival the little girl was there mean mugging me looking at me like if I was a bad guy or not wanted their I proceeded to ask for who was the rude person on the other end when I was making my order on the phone she did snap at me and said that I was disrespectful and then some I was going to leave my order there and not pay for it but it wasn’t Melanie‘s fault so I ended up giving her a two dollar tip and I paid for my food and left these people are good people there but that one young girl worthless
BE CAREFUL! Prices INCREASED at the time to pay the bill but menu keeps showing old prices. This is a SCAM! When I asked the cashier what’s going on she said the owner didn’t change yet the prices on the sign. However they are charging the new price without customer”s knowledge. I am very disappointed!
Dude the cashiers are so rude and actively ignores you. Picked up a large order and was ignored by the lady in the front even though my food was in front of me.
Still consistently with unprofessional services: always longer wait (45 mins-1hr) extra than the time given. Uncaring: would pass by customers without any signs of acknowledgement of greeting nor taking order.Peruvian chicken are better at El Pollo Rico.It does offer other dishes: cerviche, seafood, Peruvian typical dishes; With a matter of time, other Peruvian eateries will pick up their menu to start offering at their restaurants such as Lima Cafe, Little Ricky, ...? The employees aren't the only ones who speak Spanish; their chit chats become novelas to my ears (& other customers). I don't look any resemblance of Hispanic at all.Spend your time and support local business elsewhere !!
This place is the worst with customers, they do not communicate well with customers, if they tell you that they will wait 20 minutes, you wait, but one arrives and they do not listen to it, they have a big mess, they make mistakes with the orders and if you complain they get angry why don't they fix the problem, if they know that they have these problems for years, the solutions are never good, it's my money for what they also eat ???
Placed order waited 30mins to only get pasty of my Togo order and asked to wait for the rest. Horrible communication among staff and very unorganized establishment. Would not recommend!
I ordered a pretty simple order. Chicken nuggets for my kids a salad for me. After waiting over 30 mins and informing the waitress I was leaving she informed me they lost my order and if I could inform her what I had originally ordered. Ridiculous

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This place has gone down the toilet service-wise after I have had been going here for years, and the service was so-so BEFORE Covid-19. I order my food with my spouse with only two other patrons already there. We get drinks, my spouses chef salad came out in 5 minutes, fine. My food doesn't come out.As I'm waiting, more patrons come in order food and get their food all pretty much in 5-10 minutes. At least 4 other orders of food to other patrons that had been seated AFTER I got there. At this point, 30 minutes later, I ask to see the manager. The manager is not there according to the waitress. Another waitress comes out claiming they are very busy, apparently not busy enough to where another waitress and her boyfriend disappeared for a few minutes into the ladies bathroom (seriously, that happened, I feel sorry for the patrons that had her serving them food after doing who knows what with her boyfriend in the ladies restroom, yikes.) Again, when we got there, we were only one of 3 patrons at the tables, and one of them already had their food when we were seated. There were three waitresses for three tables when we got there, so the staff shortage excuse didn't apply here. Now two other waitresses come out with my order, yes they both had the same order, so they are either incompetent, disorganized, or both. I had them send the food back and was done at this point.As a final insult, I had to go to them after waiting another 8 minutes to get my check to pay for my spouses meal, after telling two of the waitresses I wanted my check after I sent back my now 35 minutes late meal(s). Based on the other recent reviews, I'm apparently not the only one that has experienced their terrible service. With no manager there at an important time like lunch time, it's apparent that the owner of this place has lost control of the staff here, or at worst, has turned a blind eye to the terrible service this place provides. There are too many other Peruvian style chicken places in the Woodbridge area to tolerate this craptastic service. I'll stick to Pollo Rico. Never again.
