Stop by here for lunch for the first time, the inside decorations is really nice.We were party of three, servers is friendly, they even have a bar also. Our dish was chicken satay, crab fried rice, street noodles, drunken noodles and Kana crispy pork for to go. The chicken satay is kinda small for our opinion compared others Thai place we’ve been.My street noodles was ok.. and if you see on the pic the shrimp only 3 on top of the noodles , there’s nothing more inside so probably just for decorations on my plate ??♀️ Oh well.The rest food is good.
We have been here a couple times already and it’s good all the time! We love the food and the drinks. They are really friendly and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Nice spot for people watching in the outdoor patio. A late lunch on the weekday. Very good pad Thai (another local noodle place had very bland pad Thai), and a unique lychee cocktail. Waitstaff was leisurely in the sense of giving me time to savor the meal.

I encourage all monkey-pigeons and DMV’ers to stop by and visit this delish Asian food cooking restaurant. Especially during the week where for some reason the food seems to taste much fresher. Maybe bc there is not a high traffic of people ordering and the chef’s are not rushing to getting things done.
First time visit to Dok Khao was incredible! The ambiance is what first caught my eye, then the atmosphere was very elegant and welcoming. The food tasted so fresh and not too heavy on the sauce, sodium, but certainly not bland. Very flavorful and excellent portions. I’ll certainly be back, with family and friends!
I love this place. The atmosphere, the drinks, the food, the staff. Everything is so good! I highly recommend the Bangkok wings for an appetizer and the yellow chicken curry for an entree. AMAZING!

Love the location and ambiance of this place, not to mention the staff is super polite and accommodating. I ordered the Yellow Curry with chicken, and although 1 slice of potato was not cooked all the way, the rest of the meal was fantastic. To accompany my meal was their mango milk tea, which I was flavorful and delicious. Would definitely go again to try the rest of the menu, which has a ton of options for everyone!
