We stumbled upon this place when we came out of Alamo Drafthouse. Seemed like there was some construction going on indoors. Some street parking and parking lot around the area. There wasn't any sign but the bartender eventually told us that we could sit wherever. Several of the staff kind of walked past us before one of the bartenders mentioned we were new and had sat down.We didn't try any of the food but it did look pretty good. Delicious food and a solid beer (bier) selection without being overwhelming. The Fried Pickles were distinctly well seasoned. Loved this Reuben: not the most generous but exceptional quality.
Beer prices were fairly priced although not every beer is available at happy hour prices. Food was a little over priced for simple burgers and hot sandwiches, but I get that's everything in this area. Great atmosphere to come in and relax. Love the support for the military.
Great beer and selection of beer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Disappointment was no tour as advertised on their website (one of the reasons we went). But we still had a nice time.

I wanted to try this place because it was suggested to me by a buddy I served with. He said it was a veteran friendly bar and being a veteran I do like to choose those places when I get the opportunity. The beer and food is 5 star material. The older gentlemen with graying hair is not. He never asked me what I’d like to drink, never asked me if I needing anything during the meal and wouldn’t have spoken at all except to say “Are you ordering food or not?” Luckily the long haired gentlemen took care of me while running food and beer.Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Older bartender, not so much. I don’t need conversation while I’m there, but I do expect a polite environment. On that, he missed the mark.
Great place for the whole family! Drink & food are good. Board games for the kids, out door seating. What more could you ask for? How bout karaoke??? Oh, they got you for that too!! Friday & Saturday nights it’s the place to be! DJ Terry always has the place rockin. He really plays the best tunes & gets the crowd going. Karaoke wouldnt be the same without him, he even sings!!
The beer is amazing, the food is great, and the entertainment is what really makes the place. The DJ Terry really knows how to get the customers on their feet. He plays awesome music and makes it a fun welcoming time that everyone can enjoy. If you need something to do on a Friday or Saturday night I highly recommend coming here.
Attention to detail. I only tried three beers and each one was a home run. Easily beats many of the Richmond breweries. A creative chef that really knows his stuff when it comes to flavor.
