It was good eating and very nice people work their. The food was delicious and plenty of it.
Old school pizza joint. Great service. Great food. Always.
We love a mom and pop restaurant. We were staying in a hotel in the land of restaurant chains. We found Astoria and read the reviews and knew we had to go. Not only did we go for lunch, but we went back for dinner. For lunch we had the steak and cheese supreme sub and the chicken gyro. Both were very good. For dinner, we had th lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. Very good as well. We will be back when we are in town again.
My wife and I have been going to Astoria Pizza since we moved to this area 11 years ago.We have thoroughly enjoyed a wide variety of their meals and have never been disappointed.
Great Pizza among other things. The owner is very nice and helped us out big time when it snowed and we needed pizza for my work. Chicken and banana pepper is my favorite to get. They used real whole shredded pieces of chicken.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HIGH REVIEWS! This place absolutely sucks! I had high hopes for the pizzeria since it was a small family owned place. Usually they are good! This place is trash. Ordered a long time ago and the pizza was gross. The cheese was barely melted and the chicken parm sub was chicken tenders on a sub roll. Save your self a trip because I wasted money when I cld have made my own pizza and chicken parm at home!
Being from Philadelphia, Im a tough critic of pizza places. Pizza was very good. Nice crust, sauce was on point, and a bit more cheese than normal pizza. Im a big fan of extra cheese. Pizza was the only thing we got here, so my review is solely based off the pie. 4 out of 5 stars. Well done!
First time in the area. From Pa fir a soccer tournament. Every time I'm in new territory I always look for authentic Gyros. This place did not disappoint! Real deal. Pizza was good also. Highly recommend if you're a Gyro lover..
I'm not a pizza person by any stretch. I like, don't really crave it and think its overrated. All that being said, Astoria's pizza was awesome and might be the best I've tried in 22192! Far better the Presto, far better. Fresher than junky Cesar's or decent Pizza Hut.The crust was thin and crispy, tasted fresh. The cheese was gooey and plentiful. Sausage was real and not that crumbled stuff. The décor was real outdated, but I think it added to the taste!Oh, the onion rings were hand battered and delicious! Not that frozen/breaded junk you sometimes get at mom and pop places. Can't wait to try the steak and cheese and Greek inspired items.
Best NY style pizza in Woodbridge. No doubt, it's not even close! Try it you'll like it!
