I ordered a chicken Philly.. it was poorly seasoned and asked for cheese...non came on the sub. I also, ordered garlic parmesan wings.. I received buffalo wings with garlic parmesan spreaded on top of them. I was totally disappointed with my overall experience.
I love wings but my husband does not. Well, I got the wings which were delicious . I wasn't sure what sauce so Al was kind enough to let me dol a taste test. My husband was going to go to his favorite sandwich shop for a steak and cheese but decided to get one here. He said its the best steak and cheese he's had in a long time!! we will be going back!
It’s a good halaal place in the town the owner is kind and welcoming. I tried lemon pepper wings they were delicious.
Food is overcooked and not good. Fails to properly prepare order and puts the blame on DoorDash for unprepared parts of the order.Called to request item and they said it wasn't their problem.removing them from my go to places.
Quality has dropped drastically. Used to be quite good and made fresh now it takes over a hour to get your order and when you do receive it, its missing some items or is just cold. I support local but the drop in Quality and wasted time is to much to ignore at this point.
Tonight’s super bowl now night, I decided to enjoy buffalo wings from Al’s. I ordered a dozen medium spicy wings. After few minutes, a gentleman from behind the cash register handed me my order. As soon as I got into my car, I realized that the wings appear to be unexpectedly cold. I was terribly disappointed, went back into the place, registered my complaint and asked for freshly made wings. After few minutes, the gentleman came out from the kitchen and handed me new wings bag. These wings appeared to be warm (not hot), I drove home as I had already expended much time for these wings. Wings tasted fine but shockingly there were only 11 and not 12 wings. So, for the next time - I would recommend any customer for this place to check if the food is freshly made and that the quantity is per your order and not less. Quality of the wings was as before however today’s experience has been unsatisfactory.
The food was just ok except the steak and cheese as it was way too salty. Chicken wings were a little overcooked. The lemon pepper was an oily sauce at the bottom of the takeout tray and the chicken was naked. Pretty sure I ordered dry rub, but the flavor was ok. I would give them another try, though.
I’ve been here a few times and have been quite satisfied with the food. Today unfortunately was not one of those times. For starters I’m glad I checked my order prior to leaving. I ordered 12 of the dry rub lemon pepper wings, when I opened the box there were 12 wings with some sort of buffalo sauce on them. There were no fries, which were supposed to come with the combo I ordered, the only choice of sodas were Pepsi and Sprite. I’m not a fan of either so I chose the Sprite. The customer behind me asked if there were anymore sodas in the back and the young man’s response was that was all they had. She wanted a Sprite so I gladly handed her the one I had.When I got home, the hoagie roll that the Philly cheesesteak was in was cold and hard and the meat was dry. I ordered ranch dressing with my wings and received blue cheese.My preference is to patron small businesses, but there were just too many things that went wrong with my small order today, I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
Not that bad. The music and christmas lights were a nice touch (the tables could have used some work but I'll let that fly), and the service was fairly quick. The wings themselves were just meh, though. Kinda small and the honey mustard flavoring was just honey mustard sauce... I don't know what else I'm supposed to expect? I'm not a wings person, but I know I've had better wings. Maybe I should have gotten gyro or the philly cheesesteak, somebody pictures of the latter and it looked pretty good.
The wings were delicious! The owner is very kind and cares about the food he makes and serves. He happily recommended a flavour of wings to me and said he could make it spicy. (Spicy lemon pepper) It was delicious. Will be back!
