Outstanding! The luncheon special with shrimp, zucchini, and cheese ravioli with a light, delicious sauce was perfect for a birthday celebration and an extremely hot day!Service was beyond excellent!

Fantastic food and attentive staff. Loved sitting out in the courtyard. Everything we ate was delicious. Homemade pasta & specialty coffee drinks were our favorites.

Me and my wife went for our 56th wedding anniversary. Food was excellent, Service was superb. Didn't expect to be serenaded by a violinist and the owner. A wonderful experience all around. 10/10

What a wonderful evening! The menu was exciting - it offered a wide variety of tempting options. The staff was very welcoming...table visits by the owner family really made you feel welcomed. We had a wonderful supper meal with drinks and dessert. Couple this with exceptional table service, and you have a dining experience you cannot miss!

My first time at Violino's was a recent business dinner with a group of eight. We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. Our orders for drinks were taken and quickly fulfilled. We were given an elaborate explanation of the specials, several of which we ordered, along with an array of appetizers. The food (I had one of the excellent veal dishes) and wine (a selection of Italian reds), along with the attentive service, were appreciated by all of us in my group. My problem came with the dessert. Our waiter offered several, but especially touted the gelato made in house by his father (!). As an occasional traveler to Italy and a big fan of gelato, how could I choose otherwise? Unfortunately, the several flavors of gelato in my dish all tasted the same to me, and more critically, they had none of the light creaminess of Italian gelato. My three gelato balls tasted frozen and freezer burned, and they were icy, more like sorbet than gelato. That's the only reason my five-star review ended up as a 4.

I've been here once during old town winchester restaurant week and had a 5 star experience. Personally I love their desserts the most here and they do have some higher end wines that are good as well.

We were not pleased at all with the food. Service was wonderful! I ordered the seafood dish with shrimp, clams, scallops and fish. The fish was not fresh!! I could not eat it. It’s been 2 weeks and the thought of fish makes me sick to my stomach. My friend ordered a chicken dish that had fruit all over it. The flavors did not go well together. The only reason for 3 stars is because the server was very knowledgeable and nice.

I was just here tonight with my mom and Aunt and the food was excellent. We received such great service from a really nice young waitress. Wish I knew her name. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I took our middle son and his family for a December 23 family dinner. We all had something different and every single dish was great. Included in the dishes around the table were duck, ossobuco, lobster, fish stew, ravioli, cornish hens, and a fish dish. We had calamari as an appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was on top of it and the ambiance was perfect. Couldn't recommend this place more.

We were just travelling I-81 and stopped for the evening, looking for a nice restaurant to relax and enjoy a good meal. We found it! The Violino is owned and operated by an Italian family and was celebrating its 25th year. We helped them celebrate, and enjoyed every bite! My wife got the salmon and she said it was excellent! I got the Costa alla Gorgonzola (angus beef steak) and it was delicious, in a tasty brown sauce. We paired it with some wine recommended by the staff. A thoroughly delightful meal and just what we were looking for after a day of travel. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to get a table as an early walk-in.
